Psilocin

Psilocin is along with psilocybin one of the main psychoactive chemicals produced by Psilocybe (magic) mushrooms. Psilocybin is hydrolyzed in vivo to give psilocin, which is the active compound responsible for the effects of magic mushrooms. Unlike psilocybin, psilocin is very sensitive and is readily oxidized by air, heat and light.
