Smile Drug Pharmacology Document

Hey there

Iv'e been hoping to put together a little document of sorts, for my own education and reference which involves filling in some arbitary blanks concerning the receptors affected by a given chemical or group of them, the natural function of these receptors in the human body, and the resulting effects of agonists/antagonists binding with these receptors.

I'm no pharmacology student, I just have a keen interest in it and I was hoping a few more educated members here might spare the time to help complete my lil document.

The substances I want to cover are simply the ones SWIM has experimented with, it will prolly take quite a bit of work to get them all, but any information you can spare would be much appreciated

Layout~

Primary Active Chemical/s:

Receptor/s:

Natural Receptor/s Function:

Effect of Receptor/s Agonist/Antagonist:

Substance List

Salvia divinorum
Cannabis
Poppers (Amyl Nitrite/Butyl Nitrite/Isopropyl Nitrite/Isobutyl Nitrite)
Nitrous Oxide
Codeine Phosphate
Speed (Amphetamine Sulphate?)
MDMA
Ketamine
DMT
LSD
Cocaine
2CB
Kratom (Mitragyna speciosa)
Yopo (Anadenanthera peregrina/colubrina/excelsa/macrocarpa)
Fly Agaric (Amanita muscaria)
Mescaline
Wild Dagga (Leonotis leonurus)
Mephedrone (4-Methylmethcathinone)
Kanna (Sceletium tortuosum)
Methylone
BZP (
1-Benzylpiperazine)
TFMPP (3-Trifluoromethylphenylpiperazine monohydrochloride)

Thanks in advance, I hope this is a sensible request as my knowledge of pharmacology despite keen interest may be a tad naive.

Re: Drug Pharmacology Document

Maybe this list posted awhile back will help you out, it goes through all the serotonin receptor sites and what drugs affect them and in what way(agonized or antagonized?)...
