I didnt know where else to poat this. there were four car bombers in
london and they hit like three underground trainways or w/e and one double decker bus. people say it was a terrorist attack (the logical thing to say) but i think it was a set up by the US. i mean england was so-so on the war in iraq (guessing from my ignorant and almost nonexsistent political knowledge) and this would make them decide fast. and everyone knows that americas can be douche bags and retards. really look at our president. and bush was kinda running out of reasons to be in iraq and shit. so this would give him reason to stay in iraq and also get englandin it with out killing americans. im sure bush idnt think this up mnust have been his advisors or some shit. i think that bush is a destraction so thath we see him and not the greater evil behind it all. he just signs things. so whats your opinion? peace |

So your theory is that bush deployed troops to go to london to make a "terrorist attack" to get london to join the war? I agree with sitbck. BULL SHIT! London wont be like "oh look we got attacked by some radom group of terrorists now we must go fight Al-Qida. I'm sorry but i dont think that the US bombing another country to make them decide that they will stay in the war is logical. There is more then one terrorist group in this entire world, and each group has it's own modivations. There is no way to jump to a quick conclusion like this. Muirner |

With all the fishy circumstances surrounding the Nick Berg execution, I'm not sure I would put something like this past the US.

Expect the death rat to rise.
With 700 wounded, that's a huge gap in basic death-to-wound ratio (death = 10%-15% of wounded). Traumatic injuries will likely result in more deaths. Be on the lookout for the ISLAMIC militants behind this, and once THAT happens, wait to see just how many ISLAMIC organizations actually issue statements of public condemnation. I'm getting fed-up of seeing western society falling all over itself to tollerate such a wide band of INTOLLORANT Cultures! |

Its true that Bush would have motivation to design such a conspiracy,
but your reasoning has one little flaw. the US would not risk all out war with their most powerful ally just to get them to be more active in a war which is not even directly threatening our country. if al-quaida doesn't own up to it in a few days, which they probably will if they did it, there will be a massive investigation, and the real culprit will be found. if it had been US agents the British would figure it out pretty quick and it would be WWIII. |

It may be true or it may not, but I do think that it is logical. It strengthens the excuse of the war on terrorisme, which allows the US to do many unthinkable things. It is obvious that that the bush administration is after Iraq and needs to get a lot of countries turned around to be able to do that. But be that as it may, I do not think that this is the most logical explanation of the situation. I do find the comparisment between the non-violent demonstration of live aid and the violent terrorist attacks, a good one. I wonder if the G8 will show the world that non violent demonstration is resultful and thus more effective than terrorism, or if they will teach the contrary.

Well if I'm wrong I will apologize along with moving out of the country...but in no way would the United States do something like this to get more people into Iraq....now it does sound like a good plan yeah...but it wouldn't happen...
Now what would you guys think if it was actually Al-Qida that did it...not saying it is but what if it is.....would the views of people change now that it is going on in another place aside from the US....would people change their views and support the war on terrorism?? Be kinda funny if they did I think.... |

When shit hits your fan perspective changes instantly. I suspect the bombings have to do with the olympics, as the olympics went to the UK, due to the treaths of various terrorist groups against olympics in Spain(ETA) & Russia. |

i wouldnt in anyway say "the u.s." set this up, thats ridiculous, none of thisisthe work of any one countryas a whole (the u.s. or iraq), or any one government. that's far too general. i believe its the work/design/intention of power figures in the world (from various countries) that want to limit our freedoms and put fear in our hearts (bush included- he says it all himself all the time of course leaving outthat he'sone of the perpetrators). 'they' support and train these terrorists. these terrorist attacks are going to further push governments to pass more and more laws limiting our freedoms and taking away our liberties so a fewcan gain more control over the world population.the new world order is in effect plain and simple. it's crossing lots of minds that this attack on london will cause more people to support bush's war on terrorism, and most likely it will. i don't think that was the intent in any way, although bush will benefit from this. don't believe everything you hear on the news people... there's a word called propaganda. this is a war against every single human on planet earth. we can't let fear rule, dictate or influence us or cause us to point fingers and blameor generalize a group of people (the u.s. did it, the iraqis did it, the muslims did it)... that just feeds the cycle of hate and negativity that is the root of all this mess. love yourselves, love life and love each other. peace and love is the only weapon against this evil. |

Bush and blair lied about WMD's, leading to a war that has killed a hundred thousand. Why wouldn't they lie about this being a terror attack to keep the war going? How much blind trust are you going to lay in them?
Truthfully, we will never know who was behind this attack. |

to be honest i dont think that its too hard to imagine that the states..i mean the gov ofthe US(not the people of course)had something to do with this.it wouldnt be the first time they fucked over their allies, unofficially of course.also you can always say that the US caused this because they created Osama bin Laden,if such a person exists at all.i can go into a really detailed explanation howthe USare renowned for fucking over their "allies" but what for?it will just start an useless discussion, and i doubt it will change anybodies mind.and i would become very unpopular here<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn chemas-microsoft-com ffice ffice" /><O:P></O:P>and i think were missing the point here-senseless loss of human life,be it 9/11,Madrid,London,Iraq,or maybe Iran in the future.and its not some easy way out situation...and anybody who is willing to blame it ona immense group of people is an complete IDIOT.and anyone who tries to use this tragedy as a political tool is a bad as the ones who committed this atrocity.<O:P></O:P> also why do you always say bush, blaire, etc this and that, they are just names in front of a machine, they wouldnt have power if someone hadnt given it to them.. oh and Alfa i dont believe that this has something to do with the olympics, because this had to be planned long time ago.Maybe with the G8?Maybe well suddenly find out that Osama pulls the strings in <?:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn chemas-microsoft-com ffice marttags" /><ST1:PLACE w t="on"><ST1:COUNTRY-REGIoN w t="on">Iran</ST1:COUNTRY-REGIoN></ST1:PLACE>?<O:P></O:P>btw there is a identical thread in the some for all forum, mods you could merge them, just to keep it tidy <O:P></O:P><O:P></O:P> Edited by: daeron |

it´s not religion, it´s the fact that
bush and blair are on the same side and back each other on iraq and terrorism,so the jihadists who have claimed war on the U.S. have claimed war on our strongest allies, hence the attack on London. I do not support terrorists and feel sorry for the victems of 7/7 and 9/11 but bush poked the bee hive and is gonna get stung.

I doubt that Bush or the US gov't had anything to do with it, but the
very fact that people whom I know to be reasonable find it plausible shows just how badly the US had fucked up its international standing. Everything good, Bush has squandered and left the US in a deep hole.<!-- var SymRealOnLoad; var SymReal; Sym() { window.open = SymWinOpen; if(SymReal != null) SymReal(); } SymOnLoad() { if(SymRealOnLoad != null) SymRealOnLoad(); window.open = SymRealWinOpen; SymReal = window.; window. = Sym; } SymRealOnLoad = window.onload; window.onload = SymOnLoad; //--> |

I have seen too many lies, cons and set ups, by the US government, to have any fraction of trust in them. Nevertheless, Osama or other parties may very well be behind it. On the other hand, if Bush now starts claiming that Iran is behind it and we need to attack them (and claim that oil resource too),my judgementwill be set.I do believe that the majority of terrorist groups get funding from many governments, especially the larger countries.

Err...Alfa? If I may? As a citizen, sort of, of the Untied Snakes, I assure you that many of us see through the lies as well. Bush, and his lap-dogs, has stated that this will be a war without end. Great for the major economic interests. Oil. Weapons. Pharmaceuticals. Etc. So, as a citizen of the USA, you are correct not to trust my country's government. Not ONE LITTLE BIT. But, like the Netherlands, most people here are morons and prefer to be led than to think and learn. They are victims of their own stupidity. Waving flags and shouting Sieg Heil as their kids come home in body-bags as the younger kids have to live on nuts and berries. History repeats itself - again. No wonder anything that elicits consiousness-expansion is either in the gray-area of the law - or already outlawed. Drink Alcohol! Smoke Tobacco! Seig Heil!Edited by: nagognog2 |

Yes.. It is really Sieg Heil.. Hitler did massive propaganda to turn it's nation.. Bush does it with Fox news just like Hitler. Big masses scream Sieg Heil. What do you americans think about Fox news?? It is all about oil. The oil reservers are going to end quickly, and what can the largest military power do without oil?? It's better to have the jets up in the air than on the grounds, and arabs can afford to send their jets up. During second world war, US did heaving bombing across a line, so they forces from north wouldn't be able to get into south.. instead the forces took or route via cambodia.. then US bombed there too.. the result?? 800k civilians died in Cambodia from the US bombings. Btw, US funded Pol Pot which killed even more people. If they can kill 800k people, can they kill 40-50 people in London? (Sorry, I don't remember how many died in London). Not too long ago, there were perfect car bombs in Lebanon killing their most rich man and their ex president. It has shown that this car bombing was very sofisticated and perfectly planned. The compunds and material to the bombs were very advanced too, which made it look american. Something I never understood.. there was a crash into pentagon.. where is the wreck?? Why is the hole into the wall small? Why does the object in the film taken from a gas station look like a tomahawk? Edited by: Triple7 |

Well Triple 7, as a political activist here in the USA, Alfa permittting this sort of discourse, I will tell you. The lines here in the USA are drawn as I have not seen before since Richard Nixon was in the office of president. Mr. Bush swore that "You are either with us, or you are against us!" He said that to the world, and to us, the American people. So the lines are drawn here. It is a real mess. They have their organ of propaganda (FOX)that says if you don't listen to what they say - you are a traitor and hate our troops. Right-wing churches threaten their congregations with burning in hell if they do not follow our president into war and all other policies. Then they throw beating up gay people as being a prize if we all behave. Like Hitler made the Jews the popular enemy. I will not kid you - this country is currently a divided nation, and is going to remain such for the near future. But, as we did with Nixon, it will right itself. Just don't trust our government at present. It does not represent the people here who have an education that goes beyond 5th form in the schools. Idiots who blindly follow leaders are everywhere. Thinking people don't tend to scream and articulate their beliefs with such rhetoric as "Kill! Kill! Ough!! Kill!" So what we are saying does not sell newspapers. But it does effect domestic policy. Wish us luck, please. We will prevail. |

May i ask nagognog are you a supporter of a democratic party?you see to a lot of people outside the US the democrats and the republicans are the same shit,it’s the same foreign policy just they have different lobbies behind them and they have different geographical areas of interest. basically the foreign policy remains the same-if theres some financial/strategic/political/demagogic gain at the horizon-were fucked. yeah FOX news is a great propaganda machine, but to be honest (IMO,of course) there is not one even remotely objective network in your part of the world. All you have is one window to look at the world, and thats why even some of the most intelligent people ive met become very ignorant when it comes to foreign issues.
<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn chemas-microsoft-com ffice ffice" />also may i ask wtf is with all that god thing?ive spent a yr or so in the bay area, and i was literally brainwashed with religious-slash-supreme justice-slash-hollywood type shit. //im not directly addressing anyone personally here//-->To the all people of the world, but for some reason mostly to the Americans of the world-nothing is black and white, nothing is simple like bad guys good guys, the most timid person you know is capable of most horrid atrocities and most beautiful deeds.yes that’s fucked up but thats just people. |

Daeron: You ask a question that has no easy, or simplistic, answer. Regards my own politics, no - I am not either a republican or a democrat. I live in a two-party system that is currently trying to become a one-party totalitarian theocracy. Which is extemely dangerous. As the only standing world super-power, we hold the keys to both helping the world by using common sense, or destroying it for some idiotic belief in flying elves and gnomes. Usually, but not always, I have to hold my nose and vote for the lesser of two evils. Slowly this nation is building up a multi-parlimentarianism structure through grass-roots efforts - village by town by city by state. For each step we take forward in this work, the ultra-rich ruling class does their best to discredit and stop us. But we learned their tactics during the Viet~Nam War and know how to offset their attempts. May I give you an example of how desperate they are to prevent a positive social change? Get this one: The American Association of Retired People - AARP - recently came out against Bush and his policy of lowering the ability of older Americans to get government aid to afford prescription drugs (Bush was heavily subsidized by money from major pharmaceutical firms. The cost of my monthly prescription I need for an ulcer has quadrupled since his second term). The Bush regime countered by threatening to expose the AARP as being homosexual supporters who hate our troops fighting in Iraq. They actually placed advertisements stating this on television in parts of the USA with a large segment of elderly people to make sure AARP got the message that they could, and would, use the nastiest smear campaign possible to get their way and make the rich richer, and the poor poorer. These are the acts of a desperate bunch of fools. The struggle continues. Best wishes from the Untied Snakes. |
