another hydrocodone thread

k, I found a bottle of hydrocodone compound syrup mor [that's exactly what it says on the bottle]


I only have about 40ml's left and reading through here and on the bottle, it seems to be some pretty strong shit. I took a small dose [3x the recommended dose]and all that did was make me itchy. How much would one strong dose be? And would that be drinking it or shooting it, because it is cough syrup technically and looks a little bit thick.


Another opiod question, when I take vicodin or hydrocodone, both the only opiates I've taken, I get itchy as hell around 3 hours later. All over my body but mostly around my nose. With vicodin that shit lasted 4 days once. Am I allergic or is this a side effect of someopiods?

For clarification, hydrocodone is the active component of vicodin.

the more you itch, the more you are allergic to it...everybody is allergic to opiates, the amount you itch will tell you if you are more allergic

I ITCHED LIKE A MOTHERFUCKER on vicodin.


But I felt fine when it wore off, besides the itching.


When I take hydrocodone syrup, I felt like shit when it wore off. Like truly horrible. Iwas all shaky and felt really hot. Loud noises and too much flashing TVmade me feel horrible and paranoid. I couldn't standup because when I had to walk to go piss or something I felt so tired and like I was gonna pass out from just a few steps.


What's also weird is I can do a lot or a little hydrocodone but the comedown is always just asstrong. It's not worth it. :/


Anyone know why the fuck that was happening though? Does anyone else have horrible comedowns like that on hydrocodone/opiates?

Thats a very bizzare comedown. The side effects sound like withdrawl.
Is it possible you are freakishly prone to hydrocodone withdrawl?

I wasnt even slightly withdrawing from vicodin, and I did that shit like crazy before my big bottle of pills ran out. I heard you can experience withdrawal from vicodin too but all I felt was a bit of itching afterwards.


I have hydrocodone pills and hydrocodone COMPOUND syrup.There might be something else in the syrup/pills..


Or maybe itcould bewithdrawal. If it is, that sucks dude!

If it only happens with the syrup and not with vicodin, I have to
assume that it isn't the hydrocodone's fault. I don't see why you would
have a negative reaction to hydrocodone in one preparation but not
another. Is there any more information on the bottle that might be
useful in figuring out what is causing it?

Is kind of how SWIM feels/felt when he was on the verge of getting an opiate habbit, where I come from it's commonly known asa "jail habbit" (due to the fact that you can't get enough money/dope in jail to get or keepa full blown addiction.)


Peoplehave different symptoms, but most people find that with a "jail habbit" as soon as one wakes up,(s)he feels really shitty for a few seconds, and then pretty much passes back out. This can go on for about 2 days or so, waking up, passing out.


Fuck SWIM on this one... "I" say to you, that if you are at this stage, don't push it any further dude. It's so easy for itto get out of hand, but so easy to think that it wont.

Nah, it's a prescription bottle that lists no ingredientsfor the pills/syrup.


But I'm tradin em all in for other stuff anyways. It's not worth it if the withdrawal's worse than the high. :/
