Opinions - San Pedro at a rave?

Okay guys, swim has looked around but hasn't found that much information on the topic of taking San Pedro (tea extract in this case) at a rave. He likes extacy and all but his connect failed, and the way pills are going these days he has a hard time trusting anything even though he is going to be in Chicago and they may have the real deal at the event. Swim has taken smaller doses (20-30gms of dried flesh) at home and even college with pleasant results, he's just wondering how a crowded nightclub with blasting music would be for this substance at a higher dosage. For those of you that want to tell him, "it's a hallucinogen and you can't predict that kind of thing", he's fully aware, he's just wondering about the properties of it, like he knows that mushrooms are best done outside, etc. Does anybody have any experiences with this? Thanks!

SWIM enjoyed a dose of 1.5 grams of mescaline at the last Dead show in Chicago (he did have to step into a porta-john to vomit once, though). If one has a good bit of experience with psychedelics and has tripped in public before, then mescaline seems to be a fairly decent substance to take. For someone with little experience, it may be better to try in more private settings, until one is for sure they will be able to handle the trip when in public..
