no swim understands the criticism. first of all the bathroom floor has no carpet so there isn't a bunch of shit and fibers and what not. second of all the floor is kept extremely clean. third, it just recently dropped on the floor before doing this. if one of you dropped a chunk of coke on the floor would you not pick it up? oh yeah and swim gave it a little boil just in case, which he never heats up coke. so yeah once again it actually was pretty clever. not a bad idea at all. swim isn't saying it is a GOOD idea, just not a bad one. swim has heard MUCH worse. swim knew the quantity and dosage and knew it wasn't exremely bacteria filled it ain't like he picked it up in some dirty ass carpet floor a month later and knows infections are a VERY big deal but ANYWAYS... lol godamn wtf back to swims question, anyone have an affirmative answer on this one?

Well all swim can tell swiy, is that he NEVER got high off a missed digg. SubQ doesn't really work at all in Swim's experience, and IM-ing is dangerous cos of bacteria, and also doesn't work well.(maybe last choice) The butt thing is true though, well swim has big trouble finding a vain, and one day rough cos of not being able to hit a vain, swim tried this anal injection(no needle obviously) and with heroin it didn't work and was a waste. Its different for coke though, a coke shot did have a lil affect but it won't if say swiy's been up all weekend on it.

SWIM was wondering if it's OK to shoot coke IM. He's done IV and would rather not get back into that, but snorting is too hard on his nose.

A quick search turned up nothing, so any help appreciated.

Injected into the muscle surely cocaine would just be a local anaesthetic?

Subligual is supposed to work OK.

SWIJ has come across various studies (in squirrel monkeys: Meep!) where speed of onset and duration of im cocaine is said to be the same as insufflated.

SWIM experimented a little with IM coke and indeed it seemed similar in effects to insufflation. The dose was very conservative, even for an IV dose and estimated at .1 grams.

He was snorting fairly regularly at the time and did notice an increase in the overall "high"/up-ness, but experienced none of the unmistakable rush of an IV dose at even the same conservative level.
