Obviously, keeping RCs in a dark bottle at the back of your frezer will be the best option, but what if you dont have that luxury? Would it be good enough to just keep in an air-thight bagie at the botom of a drawer? Im mainly talking about 4-HO-DiPT because i know that the 2C's are pretty good |

It will probably discolor pretty quickly stored that way, but it doesn't seem to lose its potency.

The 4-HO's are notorious for degrading if not stored in a cold environment, unlike the 2-C's. Surely you can find a freezer to use somewhere.

perhaps a small cooler or one of those lunchboxes to keep stuff
cold? Maybe use dry ice to prevent melting and getting your stuff wet as with real ice. Few thoughts. |

as sad as it is, i eriously dont have access to a fridge to kepp it in. Will there be a masive drop in potency? How long would you say I have before is bunk?

original small bag with as much air remoived as possible, put in a ziploc with a dessicant, and a paper envelope on top, left in a dark place at ambient temp will keep it active without a drop in potency for a long time (longer than your patience lasts).Edited by: nanobrain

once open - close it (removing as much air as possible) - then same as above.

4-HO-DiPT will survive a while outside of the freezer. Recently I tried some 4-HO-DiPT that I bought over 2 years ago. I did this, because I am running out of stock, and went through all of my old bags, looking for enough to keep me going until I get into the Sources section. I took a regular dose (35 MG), and it worked as usual. I take this RC on a regular basis, and I would have noticed if this trip was a lot different than normal. It was stored at room temperature the entire 27 monthsin one of those silver Static-shield bags. The bag was kept sealed all of the time I wasn't actually using it. And the bag itself was stored in a brown-paper bag, which was kept out of direct light. The color is still white, and still looks pretty much the same as it did when I got it. I may have been very lucky, so I do not recommend this as the ideal storage method. But, nevertheless, it is possible to hold onto 4-HO-DiPT for a long (enough) time to enjoy it.Edited by: Solidly-here |

35mgs!! Wow! LOL! Anywho - that was the hydrochloride salt of 4-OH-n,n-DiPT that you have there. The .HCl stabilizes it somewhat. Same with the 4-OH-MiPT and 4-OH-DET (which is the most unstable of the bunch). If no freezer is available I suggest following Nanobrain's advice and you should be fine. Buy a freezer you lazy bastard! (paraphrasing Radiometer here) |

Im not lazy, i just cant afford to store it in the freezer for the
whole family to see. Cant buy a new freezer because i think that would be even more suspicious than an unmarked liquid-filled vial with a strange aroma |

One fine morning, many years ago, my nervous mother opened her freezer and was confronted by a few dozen small, amber-coloured vials. "What are these!" she shrieked. I explained - "This one is windowpane LSD from Berkeley. This one is some Sandoz blotter from..." She screamed some more. I offered to throw them all out - IF she took some of the LSD and decided it REALLY was dangerous and bad. She agreed. The vials remained in the freezer.Edited by: nagognog2 |

Beautiful story nagognog2.
It is often hard to maintain one’s prejudices when one is actually open enough to checking them out. Cool mom. Swim posted some ideas awhile back in regards to removing oxygen for longer term storage – Storage and Oxygen Absorbers Last edited by Jatelka; 24-07-2009 at 07:29. |
