Dose - capping piracetam

Does anyone cap there own piracetam? How much fits into a 00 cap if its tamped down correctly? Thanks

SWIM can stuff 600-800mg in a cap, but SWIM just puts the powder in his mouth and drinks a chaser, as the taste isn't that bad (almost like artificial sweetner). It is a pain in ass capping doses since 4-8 caps are needed with each dose (x3 times daily = 12-32caps!!!!)

Swim doesnt have digital scales. Could he just use a teaspoon? How much of a teaspoon would equate to a gram?

That can't be right - I'm not flaming its just that Swim uses 000 caps and gets 1g in each! Definitely wouldn't be able to fit 4 teaspoons in...

I would agree that 760mg would fit in a 00 cap.

No way, unless they're micro teaspoons... 4 teaspoons would be way more than a gram.

SWIM caps his Piracetam into 000 size gelcaps. When properly tamped, each cap weighs 1.2g.

SWIM takes 3 caps per day.

SWIM uses a little plastic contraption designed to cap 'em quick. One of the most useful things SWIM has ever bought.

I<3Salvia: Are you sure about that? One gram equaling 1 teaspoon, maybe, but not 4 teaspoons. I'll admit I don't know what the density of the stuff is to give a better answer, but that sounds WAY off.

Swim looked it up because he was curious, and it indeed said 4 teaspoons in a gram. You would get the same results by typing, "teaspoons to grams" and a certain "wiki" site will state the above. It does seem steep however, since thinking back when he dosed with piracetam he only used one slightly heaping teaspoon to achieve the desired effects. All that conversion stuff is weird to him, and he finds it easy to screw up depending on what you're measuring, so if you are to dose piracetam, he would recommend to just grab a 00 capsule and pack it individually until it can't hold anymore. When he did this and measured it he consistantly got a dose of around 800mgs give or take 100. Since piracetam is not horribly dose sensitive he found this the most acceptable and efficient route for his daily dosing. If you are to continue dosing things however, swim would recommend buying a digital scale that measures to at least ".00". Hope this is more helpful.

A 00 capsule will fit 760mg of piracetam if tampered down as much as possible.
