Benzo drug test Xanax (Alprazolam) and Restoril (temazepam)
Swim had some unfortunate events take place in his life and turned to the prescription bottles for relief. Swim took approximately 150mg of temezepam and 11mg of Alprazolam (total) on the 25th and 26th of august (swim also took his cell phone apart while he was heavily intoxicated, rendering it useless. But that is beside the point and off topic). Swim has a drug evalution on september 1st and may be given a UA at that time. The evalution is court ordered and required by his probation officer. However, the agency is a private non-profit organization so swim is unsure what UA method (if any) will be performed. In the past, swims UA's went to Redwood labs, but they were adminstered at the probation office.
Swim has spent hours researching (in the forums as well as other sources) benzos and believes the metabolites are stored in the liver (possibly in the fatty tissue?), mostly as a byproduct of the drug itself. Swim has also researched time of detection and has found contradicting data (1 day to 8 weeks). Swim understands that each person is different and detectabilty is mainly based on usage, metabolism, age, weight, diet, etc.
Swim is not a chronic user, he has been clean of all drugs since May (with the exception Adderral, which he is prescribed). Even before swim got clean, he was never a big fan of pharms and had rarely taken them.
Swim is about 150lbs, 5' 10" with average body fat. Swim has a natural high tolerance to most drugs and alcohol.
Swim has a legit prescription for temazepam but his probation officer would not approve of him taking it. As for the alprazolam, swim does not have a prescription.
Swim would very much appreciate any input (except for critisim, swim knows he is an idiot, so you dont need to state the obvious).
1.) for a single use, what is the average time frame for the average person of detection?
2.) If the drug is stored in the liver is there any foods swim should\shouldnt take to increase metabolic rate of the liver?
3.) Swim takes 160mg of Adderall a day, will this help detox his liver (by increasing metabolism) or prevent detox (by causing more toxins for the liver to remove)?
4.) Can Swims probation officer tell him he can not take a legal precription based on his history of drug use?
5.) Is there anything swim should do between now and the possible test besides excercise?
6.) Will drinking plenty of water aid in detoxing or is it pointless until the day of the test?
7.) Should swim avoid all activities the day of the test to reduce metabolized excretion (like with pot)?
Sorry if swim is posting questions that have already been awnsered, swim appriciates any guidance
