I had good luck finding percs in Mexico.
Best to find one of those combo places where the guy is a legitimate doctor and also a pharmacist. I found one and he charged $20 for prescription and $6 for percs (10.) Other places were charging $25 for percs w/o prescription. This way you're legal and can't be bothered by authorities, which is the biggest problem in Mexico. - B |

ive been on lots of blogs, but SWIM is a new term to me... wanna fill me in? BTW... in Mexico allot of what is controlled in the US is OTC... you can just ask the pharmacist for vic, valium, quite a few others... just keep them south of the border, and the further south you are, the less expensive they will be- places like tiajuana charge more because they all know they can. I may be overly cautious, but my rule of thumb has been that if it is a CIII or lower rx in the US (vics are CIII, valium CIV), you are OK with OTC... CII I have not tried (percs are CII along with dilaudid, M, etc) and my guess is they are regulated. |

My tip is go farther south than Mexico, prices are cheaper and you can find countries where everything is OTC.
You'll piss your pants the first time you see a 3 USD bottle of morphine syrup on the shelf next to the robitussin . |

Is it a direct translation from the English or is there a Spanish brand or word SWIM can use to help a pharmacist understand that SWIM wants Vicodin, Percocet, Codeine and Xanex?
SWIM just doesn't want to come home with sleeping pills. |

swiy's best bet is to not even attempt it. plenty of people have landed in jail for what swiy is thinking about doing. in most tourist-oriented places, the US government has pressured mexico into making these things difficult to find anyway, so there is a good chance swiy would not encounter them. and dont buy anything off the street either, theres a good chance swiy could get robbed or arrested in a sting.

SWIM found information regarding this type of endeavor on a popular news site. SWIM would caution SWIY against this.
SWIY would need to go further in, not just border towns. SWIY would also want both a U.S. and Mexican doctor's prescriptions. According to information SWIM read, mexican police and pharmacies sometimes work together. One goes in, fills a script, the pharmacy calls the police, and the federales are there when one walks out. Cause? Obtaining pills without a prescription from a Mexican doctor, even though this other person had a valid script from a U.S. doctor. This person then spent 2 years in mexican prison, and 6 months in federal prison in california. She was a mother of two, merely looking to save money on one of her regular meds. SWIM would say don't risk it right now. |
