SWIM is a n00b. Really.

SWIM is going to try the isopropanol extraction with some large pods due in soon. The problem is, SWIM does not have a scale.

Assuming SWIM wanted to follow the isopropyl guide and use about 20g, how many pods would he need? The vendor described these pods as: large - 5" to 6"

The results of the iso. extraction will be smoked, so I suppose precision is not strictly necessary, but any pointers, tips, etc. would be much appreciated.

An update: SWIM's pods have arrived! They are varied in size, mainly more or less the size of golf balls. So if this is 'large', SWIM would like his vendor to judge the size of SWIM's dick.

SWIM just made ±12oz tea in a coffee maker using 3 golf-ball sized ones and 2 small purple ones, about the size of apricots maybe. SWIM consumed half of the tea 5 mins ago in an effort to estimate the strength of this particular batch.

Good idea to test the batch. But if SWIY is planning on experimenting with Pods, or any other potentially dangerous substances for that matter, I would highly recommend buying a scale. They can be purchased at a number of places from online vendors, head/tobacco shops, and stores such as wal mart for under $20.00. It is a small price to pay considering the possible consequences of a misdose or overdose. Many people use the number of pods to calculate dosage, and that can work weel and fine, but swim personally likes the added assurance of a scale. He takes the number of PODs he usually uses, grinds them down, then also weighs them on a scale. Pods, obviously, vary in size. Even if one cannot see a noticable size difference of the Pods from a batch, the weight can vary. So yea, a scale should really be at hand for anyone experimenting IMO. Incase SWIY was still on the fence about forking over the cash for a scale after the last post, SWIM wants to add his 2cense: If SWIY is going to spend money on drugs, SWIY needs to also spend money to properly take them.
