Purity - Morphine from Poppy Pods

There have been infrequent posts alluding to numerous recipes for extracting pure morphine from pods or straw. However, in all my research I have yet to actually see one good formula. In the interest of writing a book about the subject, does anyone have a known good formula that a good 'friend of a friend' has used? It does not have to be simple, just very accurate in terms of results. Posting it here and a round of comments would be very enlightening. It there are any replies that indicate the author is posting junk, mere opinion, rumors, guesses, a formula that clearly would not produce a good end result, or anything that indicates they don't really know what they are talking about, please don't waste other peoples time.

Swim has looked into this subject a little bit. Has found recipies for opium and heroin. Though extraction of pure morphine would more than likely require a chemists knowledge. Due to how many alkaloids are in the plant would make them hard to separate. DF'ers out there correct if am wrong.

SWIm is sure that there would be something in the morphine archives but is still a bit of a newb around here as well. Billy Boy's best advice would be to use pods to create a thick tea. Continuing to evaporate the water and using many pods. Though Swiy will have to be careful about temperature issues degrading the alkaloids.

Though if this swimmer is correct, would there not be a way to evaporate at a certain temperature since they break down at slightly different temps. Possibly making a concoction that has a higher ratio of one of these alkaloids vs. the rest?
Or is swim being naive here?
