Nitrous and the vulnerable mind

SWIM's hopefully sophisticated (for $XX it should be) cracker just came in the mail and he is expecting to try nitrous in the near future. swim will not infer any neurotoxic agent on his body. he has dismissed alcohol, put off uppers, and generally stays away from free radical/down regulation producing compunds. swim is aware than no2 by itself is non toxic, but that brain damage typically occurs as the lungs are freeze dried and the brain preserved by cerebral hypoxia.

swim should keep cool as he has medical grade and plans to maintain central air. however nitrous acts as a nmda receptor antagonist. knowing nmda is an excitatory neurotransmitter much like glutamine, does swiy think anatagonising it could dam the wave of swim's cognition? (alcohol/tramadol/other dissociatives act the same way) also nitrous may release norepinepherine which swim has heard is natural cell cancer.

swim always puts alot of planning and expectation into his "rendezvous" with drugs and was planning on watching a french new wave film (swim is completely unfamiliar with the genre but wants to see the inspiration of chapter 3-Inglourious Basterds). as conventional luck would have it the film is called "breathless" and swim imagines a foreign toungue could muse hilarity and potentiation. is television a gas on nos?

Re: Nitrous and the vulnerable mind

N2O is one of SWIMs favorite dissociatives but think you will enjoy music much more than the T.V. Poor man's MTV is great. Put on some good tunes and watch some eye candy on the T.V. with the volume off. The other way people get hurt is falling down when they pass out or fish out while doing N2O standing up. Suggest do your N2O sitting down. A balloon helps too. Suggest helium quality 9" or bigger they hold one charge each or the punching ball type found in the toy isle. The N2O comes out of the "cracker" super cold so if you have a charge misfire (it happens) DO NOT let the cold gas touch your hands or lips it will burn your skin. Happy gassing!

Re: Nitrous and the vulnerable mind

Whenever SWIM gasses he gets a ringing in his ears that sounds exactly like Apache helicopters in the distance.
SWIY should listen to something with a rumbling beat, so that he cannot tell the difference from the helicopter noise. That way SWIYs experience will last longer.
Also SWIY should get into a comfortable position before he gasses, SWIM lies in his bed under the cover. Any discomforts tend to snap SWIM out of it quicker than he would like.

Happy Nossing.
