Side effects - Mushrooms and Extreme Abdominal Pain

Swim notices on most of his trips he gets some sort of abdominal pain throughout or at parts in his trips. He knows that this is a normal side effect of mushies. Last night swim ate 2.3g of dried mushrooms cubesies he thinks. Swim had really bad abdominal pain towards the end of his trip and it lasted all night and still has pain today. He ate them around 8pm yesterday so its been about 24 hours since he ate them. The pain was VERY painful at points last night to the point where he could not sleep.

Should swim be worried? He has gone number 2 twice which he thought would help but has not. It hurts to push on the affected area/run/walk/move at all.

Sounds like it could be gas pain. What SWIY describes is pretty similar
to the gas pains that Labrat sometimes experiences toward the end of a
mushroom trip, sometimes going into the next morning - and yes, it can
be excruciatingly painful. The dreaded, stinky mushroom farts can be a
huge relief when they come!

Different lab animals try to deal with this in different ways - for some, a
small snack when the mushrooms are taken can help, some try OTC anti-gas
medicine (Beano, Gas X, or whatever), and for some making mushroom tea
helps due to the stomach not having to digest all the mushroom material.
You will have to see what works for yours.

swim gets these as well. injesting via tea helps. tea with ginger helps a lot. there are a great many shroom tea recipes on this forum and those should help swiy a bit.

Well swim is back to normal again. The pain just slowly passed over time. Thanks for all the replys. Swim will try tea next time maybe.

A friend has told me that something to lactate the stomach may help in that respect (from his experience). Something with a milk base, Ice cream he said.

ice cream may work at first but the problem with that is after it stays on the stomach for a time the acids start to curdle the cream.ginger or chicken broth are both effective ways to neutralize this effect.

this is a problem swim associates with fly agarus more so than cubes.swim thinks that flies (while very intense) are some of the most dangerous magis around because they are common and if administered incorrectly can cause severe abdominal pain due to liver damage.so swim asks is swiy sure they were cubes and not flies?either way if problem is reoccuring swiy should think about alternate psychs like salvia or lsd(the cleaner and closer to lsd-25 the better).
