Cannabis Flashback?
Some background info first. SWIM rarely smokes. He's smoked about 3 times this year. Last time was last week.
Now SWIM had a very good experience last time. He was high for about 6 or 7 hours off a few hits. He has found that he gets high very very easily although that may have to do with the fact that he rarely smokes. SWIM is also on a diet. A pretty strict diet that is low in calories and he has been dropping a lot of weight recently.
Now SWIM was in the gym on Sunday when he suddenly started feeling really funny. At first he thought maybe he had been pushing himself too hard but this was different. It started as lightheadedness then he started getting these very familiar tingles all over his body. Next he couldn't really feel his mouth and when he moved it felt like his body was moving in slow motion and he felt very clumsy. It was a light high, kind of like how it feels once a person is coming down.
Could this be that the THC that was stored in his fat cells from last time he smoked were being released rapidly due to the extra fat oxidation going on because he is on a huge caloric deficiency? Keep in mind that SWIM was very hydrated and does not suffer from any illnesses.
It sounds very silly but SWIM read an article recently about THC being released rapidly from fat cells in rats due to dieting. This caused positive testing. Now although nothing is said about getting high again, SWIM wonders if the THC released was a big enough dose because SWIM smoked recently.
