Extraction - Do Lemon Tree Blossoms Contain DMT?

I was sitting outside today, when a lemon tree flower/blossom petal fell on me. I picked it up and smelled it. The thing just reeked of a DMT like smell. I have no clue whether it actually contains DMT, but that smell is so distinct...

Just thought I would post this in case anyone wants to investigate further.

It probably does contain a tiny tiny bit of DMT as almost all living things do... But SWIM doubts (in fact SWIM can say with certainty) that there is enough to smell it. It would have to be an extremely high concentration, higher than the .5%-1% in MHRB and higher than the 0-3*% in certain Phalaris species, because those certainly do not smell like DMT. Even after acetone wash and xylene defats (which reduces plant mass significantly), the plant material does not smell like DMT.

After one uses DMT, a surprising number of things seem to smell like DMT - my dishwashing detergent for one.

swim has found the same thing, he will be walking down the street and all of a sudden he will catch a whiff of it and his heart starts pounding
