Trying heroin for the first time

Thinking for trying heroin. I have no real "friends" who are on the stuff, or anything similar, but have a "contact" who's informed me where to go to get some.

How can I tell the smack is good? How much is a good beginner dose?

Can I take it once a week for more than 14 days without getting addicted?
