Oral use - Kadian 30mg, is it safe?

SWIM's first time on this forum and thought it would be best to consult some experienced users.

SWIM has aquired a 30mg capsule with Kadian 30mg imprinted on it. SWIM has identified it to be (morphine sulfate) Extended-Release Capsules. It is a purple capsule.

SWIM is curious if it would be safe to take this? If so, what is the best method for taking it? SWIM has had experience with small dosages of Hydrocodone and Oxycodone before.

Would it be best if SWIM empties the contents of the capsule and put half of the contents (ball form) in a glass of coke and go from there?
