Experiences - Suboxone/Subutex

Swim is considering going on a suboxone regimen to curb her use. She has been using everyday for the past eight months, and on and off before that. (At one point, swim had been totally clean...ah the days...) Anyway, swim is going back to school in two weeks and would like to be at least somewhat clean. Does anyone here have experience with suboxone or subutex regimens? Swim has used them once or twice when she was very sick and couldnt score, but never as a long-term type deal. For those of you that have tried it...did it work? How long did you still have cravings for? And how long were you on it before you either started to use again/got completely clean? Thanks
