Re-using soon after WDs end - will the user be back to 0?
So my towel has been trying to chip, with dubious success.
He's been using H for about three months - smoking UK brown. He let himself use every day as long as he knew he would have a longish break after a week or so - that worked for a while, until recently. Most recently he had a 3.5 week binge, with only two 'off days' in the middle of htat. The exact chronology was: * two weeks on * two days off - very little WDs, just a bit tired/emotional/achey * 10 days on * stopped for 4 days - some proper WDs, felt for 2 days - like hot/cold flushes, lethargy, difficulty sleeping, aches, felt like a cold/mild flu. Nothing 'full blown' like people describe, but certainly noticeale; the first time my towel could say "yes I'm in withdrawal." So he's now at the 'stopped' stage, having not used H for 4 days. His question is - if he uses now, what stage will he go back to? That is, if he used for - say - 4 days now, would he expect to get WD after that similar to the 2/3 day WD he just went through? Or will he be 'reset' and will require more than a few days of usage to get WD? He understands about chemical memory and how the WDs are going to get more common the longer he goes on for - he's just not sure where he will be in that stage currently. My towel thinks it's quite interesting how the WD can seem to build up quickly. Looking at his usage above - he used every day for two weeks then stopped for 2 days and got practically no WDs. Then after those 2 clean days he used every day for 10 days, and after that period his WD were quite noticeable. He wonders if the 2 clean days in the middle had little or no effect in 'resetting' him, and thereofre his latest proper WDs were the equivalent of using for 3.5 weeks straight. Therefore if he uses again now after only a 4 day break, maybe his next WDs will also be bad? Sorry that this post is a bit rambly! |
