Low dose DXM and adderall experience
my friend's parrot asked me to post this for him, as pecking takes too long for such a post:
I have recently kicked opiates and am no longer having physical withdrawals, but I still suffer from insomnia, and the only thing that lets me sleep is kratom. I try to do the kratom every other day at most to avoid becoming dependant on another physically addicting drug. Anyway, I have been trying different combinations of things lately (mostly in my quest for sleep), and I came across this one kind of by accident.
I read that DXM can help with opiate withdrawals, so I figured I'd try it because I've tried everything else, and nothing works for sleep. Well I took about 60mg from what the bottle said (recommended dose) around noon. I have been feeling very groggy lately from sleep deprivation so I decided to take 10mgs of adderall just to give me a boost. I went and worked out, and when I was done, it started to feel like I was on a very good/clean ecstacy high. I'm not a fan of ecstacy because it screws with my sinuses and my head (and reminds me of a meth addiction of years past), but this felt like all the good I've felt from ecstacy, with none of the bad. I have never taken DXM before. I realize that my doses are very small. I'm trying not to go overboard in my attempt to neutralize my brain from the mental opiate withdrawals.
I have been researching tons of drugs and drug combinations in hopes to cure my insomnia. I realized after combining the two that I better rush home and research what I had done. Most google searches lead me to this site by the way. Very informative! From what I read, this is a combination that is ill advised. I grimaced after I read this and dreaded what was to come, but to my surprise, it's the best I've felt in weeks. Like I said, it felt like the cleanest ecstacy high I've had. I think at low to moderate doses, this can be a very pleasing combination. Hopefully the comedown isn't too bad. Can't be any worse than the opiate withdrawals. Anyone else have a positive experience with this? Sorry for the lengthy post. This is my first time posting on this site.

When I say "I", I mean my friend's parrot. Sorry for being a newbe. I did read through the rules, but was not clear on how to approach this aspect.
