Addiction - What are the chances?

SWIM has alcoholism on both sides of their family.

Back when SWIM was sixteen he could drink a whole thirty pack of budweiser in a day and not vomit it back up.

Now SWIM goes to parties and will only bring six packs and makes sure he does not finish the last beer, and never gets "drunk"


Will SWIM be able to keep drinking socially like this or is inevitable?

Should SWIM just stop now before it goes to far?

there sure are a lot of threads like this popping up. Ofcourse there is always the chance that down the road swiy becomes addicted, and like said a lot, if swiy think there is a problem than stop while swiyoure ahead.

maybe only on special occasions and shit like that...not just getting trashed at a party every weekend or day....

Having alcoholism on both sides of the family should be a strong indication to swiy to find a different hobby or high. A drink here and there won't do any harm but the fact that swiy "could finish a 30 pack in a day" is a definite reason for concern. Barons uncle was an alcoholic and when he quit he hasn't had one drink since for fear of relapse and it has done him a world of good.
