TEK - Making a "DMT-Like" Substance/Form of Mushrooms (Mushroom Extraction)?

Swim lives in Texas and MANY mushrooms can be found after a good rain. Swim has heard of a TEK that can turn your shrooms into a DMT like form. Swim has about a pound of dehydrated shrooms and a shit load of the shroom dust at the bottom of the bag. Instead a brewing a tea w/ that dust, swim would like to try this TEK but can't seem to find the right forum. Can someone post a link to where swim needs to look. Or if it's even worth it

SWIM'd suggest making a crude methanol or ethanol extraction by mixing, decanting, and drying. its simple and dosage can be figured based off the amount of shrooms used and then one can figure how much powder is equivalent to how much shrooms.

Ive heard Mckenna talking about using mushrooms to mimic other drugs. He claims that mid-trip if u ask nicely it'll do DMT for you. Not sure if this works but i suppose its worth a try...

For psilicin/psilocybin extraction of mushrooms do a search for "crystals of the gods". Using ethanol for the extraction leaves a goey substance behind when dried. Its still good though. Try methanol for a more pure extraction.

So the active indegredient in mushrooms is in fact a form of DMT. It never occured to SWIM that purified psilocybin or psilocin could be smoked like DMT, but it kind of makes sense - many people do claim to smoke mushrooms and get an effect (SWIM never has). If someone were to attempt this SWIM would love to hear about the results.

4-Hydroxy-Dimethyltryptamine is not at all similar to dimethyltryptamine, it is psilocybin. If you really wanted to start the huge undertaking it would be easier to order 4-acetoxy (or hydroxy if you wished) -dimethyltryptamine off the internet. 4-AcO-DMT is more stable in the environment than -HO.

I dont see how you can say a form of DMT is not at all like DMT, when it is DMT. What do you mean by that? And besides we're talking about a 'DMT like form' here, whatever that means. SWIM is mainly interested in whether or not psilocybin/psilocin is smokeable, and it seems likely that simply extracting the psilocybin might lead to a smokeable result. Or not. Regardless I'm baffled as to how a form of DMT can be not at all similar to DMT.

It is psilocin. Psilocybin is O-phosphoryl-4-hydroxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine.

There has been some discussion on combining shrooms with MAOIs, and that it gives a experience more similar to oral DMT. SWIM has no personal experience with the combination so cannot speak to its similarities to DMT, but it will definitly at least intensify and elongate the experience. Be sure to read up on dietary restrictions concerning MAOIs before following this route however.

Either really. Swim just heard from a friend about a certain TEK on how to make a "DMT like form" that was a smoke able, crystal like form. Swim was on a "good one" when it was discussed and couldn't remember much. They grow like wild flowers where swim lives and are very available for him. Swims just getting bored with shrooms and wants to explore a little.
