Addiction - Welbutrin to treat soma addiction

In this hypothetical situation, if one were to have a dependency on soma, could welbutrin help? I know it can be used to treat cigarette and cocaine addiction and read something about it being used for meth too.

I have a friend who struggled with a Soma addiction, and she told swim about the lack of sleep and other painful symptoms of addiction and withdrawal, has one attempted to lower the effective dose until it was virtually gone? (take 3/4 dose, 1/2 dose. and eventually 1/4th to no dose?)
