Experiences - lowering doses

swim was wondering if anyone has had any luck just lowering doses down until they are not using anymore?

It can be done but it requires a person, when they feel uncomfortable, to use will power to prevent themselves taking extra. Whilst will power can be helpful it's not something to rely on when swiy has a habit. Swiy would be better to get some professional advice.
But if they feel they want to try look around DF, there's lots of good info to use that will give swiy the best possible chance. Just remember if swiy does manage to reduce but then goes back to using their tolerance will have dropped.

Yes it is possible but it will take some very strong self control, swim knows for a fact there is no way in hell he could do it, he doesn't have the discipline.

Definitely not lowering doses to zero ... but SWIM has no problem getting himself back down to just needing one bag per shot when he accidentally bumps his tolerance and starts needing 2 or 3. It's not hard at all and you still can get high the whole time, just gotta space right.

Pacman doesn't think it possible unless SWIY buy all the dope at once as if SWIY buy it at separate times the dope will be of differing quality so although SWIY may be taking what looks like a smaller dose because of the quality it may be more.

Pacman doesn't know anyone who has managed to taper down with heroin especially if they are already addicted psycholgically. The teptation to get wrecked is too high and the self discipline needed is immense
