Injecting - Black Tar Injection Questions

Dear Forum Members,

I recently ran across a friend who asked me some questions that I didn't know the awnser to and he wanted me to find them out soo...

My friend likes to put black sitcky tar into a spoon and heat it up with water when he takes shots, but recnently he has noticed that alot of the tar stays at the bottom of the spoon and just sticks to his little mixing peices that he uses. So he feels like he isn't actually getting all the tar to dissolve when he takes a shot. How can he get it to where all the tar is dissolved and he has a nice good shot? Does he have to add a certain type of chemical and mix it in with the water?

BTW I have tried searching for this awnser and I have found where it is possible to use Vitamin C. Does this mean you can crush up a vitamin C pill and slowly add a little bit into it? Or do you need a diffrent form of Vit C?

this happens to swim (when shooting tar and sometimes with powder). swim just thought that the leftover was crap since it didn't cook up and got filtered by the cotton.

Ohh, my friend said he use to use the caps and he is just now trying the tar so its new to him. I guess swiy could possibly be right, what is it about the Vitamin C and asorbic acid that some people are talking about using?

if swiy's going to be injecting, try to stay away from tar. It has a shitload of impurities that will just clog up the heart and lungs. But if a swimmer still insists, possibly adding a little vinegar would help, I'm not entirely sure though, someone with more experience is gonna have to second this

In the UK we use citric acid or vit c to cook up our gear. It doesn't cook up at all without it, i.e. is insoluble in water alone.

SWIM thinks this is because it is freebase heroin that we get here(?) we don't get black tar at all, just the powder stuff, that varies in colour from off-white to medium brown.

All the needle exchange programs here give out sachets of vit c or citric along with pins as a matter of course.

It is SWIM's understanding that things are slightly different in the US, and that their heroin is slightly different too?

But that's what the deal is with vit c and citric, anyway.

Oh and stay away from vinegar or lemon juice, bacteria in them can cause blindness.

If unavailable elsewhere, citric acid and vit c (ascorbic acid) powder can be purchased from health food stores like Holland and Barrett. Don't crush up tablets - this doesn't work. They're not pure vit c, they have other chemicals in the coating etc.

swim says DON'T ADD ANYTHING TO BLACK TAR HEROIN other than water of course.

mix it up well while it's dissolving with the heat and give it a good, quick boil, then draw it up through the cotton.

if there's a lot of crap left behind, it's just because it's cut with "whatever" they cut it with and the point of boiling it and using a cotton is to only get the heroin and to leave the other stuff out of the syringe.

don't try and shoot this extra gunk, and maybe try and find a different source for tar to compare the difference and swiy will see that sometimes swiy will get tar that is fairly clean and will cook up with next to no residue left behind.

Pacman thought that black tar is freebase like the heroin in Europe so citric acid or vitamin c is needed to break it down to inject?

Just add water.

Citric acid is only needed for freebase shit, like heroin no. 3 and crack (if you want to break it back down into injectable cocaine form).

Don't know how anyone can shoot that black tar shit. There have been many cases of necrotising fasciitis(flesh eating disease) through injecting black tar because it is so dirty and contaminated although that can happen to any injector so be careful!
