Question Quetiapine (Seroquel) and Alcohol
Hey

Is it okay for SWIM to drink beer a few nights a week while on 100mg Seroquel a day??

To be honest the only person that can safely answer this question is swiys doctor. Sparkles just checked this out and it does say alcohol should be avoided. Personally swim thinks it's never a good idea to drink on prescribed meds.

SWIM has had no real problems with drinking while on prozac providing swim avoids spirits. Swim is off spirits and drinks cidre so far it hasnt interacted too much with the quetiapine.

SWIM has been drinking for 3 days now and thus has recently experienced intensly real dreams - SWIM was convinced it was reality. SWIM is just back from the alcohol store - fri sat and sun and thats it. SWIM has appointment with shrink on tuesday so must be sober monday. SWIMS dreams are scary

SWIM is a liar. SWIM drank gin last night.

SWIM feels low. Its been 1 month since SWIMS pet possum commited suicide. SWIM must learn how to deal with his issues - drink is not the answer?

SWIMs experience with that combination is not good. But he thinks SWIY low dosage of 100mg and some time between the two substances should be okay. SWIY must be informed that the seroquel will boost up the effects of alcohol. And as already wrote above, drinking is never the answer!

Swim get a daily dose of sereqeul,
swim combines alcohol whit sereqeul different times.
Swim is al lot faster drunk if he had sereqeul before.
People can combine these two (sereqeul/alcohol)
But do it carrefully..
