Amsterdam Mushroom Portions

I need some information on Amsterdam magic mushrooms.

In what sort of portions are they sold in and for what price roughly? Which are the best ones to go for. I've done mushrooms before but I don't want something too intense.

How do customs respond to finding mushrooms on someone at the airport?

Any info would be appreciated.

Portions of magic mushrooms:


psilcybe cubensis (mexican, columbian, palenque, golden teacher, thai, amazonian, huatla, gulf coast, transkei, etc) 30 grams for € 11,50 to €15,50.


Paneaolus cyanescens (copelandia, hawaiian) € 15,00 to€ 18,00


Psilocybe mckennai 20 grams for € 15,00


Truffles (mexicana, tampanensis) € 14,00 - € 16,00


Psilocybe azurescens € 17,50


I'd go for Psilocybe mexicana, since that is not to heavy (lots of laughter) and controlable, but stil spectacular. I wouldn't know about customs and mushrooms.

Ok, so I've seen on the Dutch version of COPS! ("Bij de Politie", I
think its called) a young Spanish couple getting caught at Schiphol
with some grass. The police officer basically told them that they were
fucking idiots and threatened them with a lot of shit and made them cry
and feel really bad, then he let them go with a stern warning.



It seems that the Dutch won't do much if they find a small "personal"
amount of soft drugs on you at their customs patrol/airport. However,
there is a chance they could fuck up your ability to travel, put you in
some sort of database or give you a hard time in other ways, I would
think. also, you could get royally fucked at your destination where
they will certainly not be very tolerant of drug smuggling, no matter
how benign your intent.

Do we have a Dutch version of Cops?! How low can you go. Trust me, you do not want to get into that database. Once you are, they'll take a dive into your luggage every time you travel. SWIM's second cousin's friend's dog has some experience with that and was not amused.

Yeah the Dutch "Cops!" is called "Bij de Politie" and it is on either
RTL4 or SBS sometimes. Hopefully it is still on because it's very
funny, actually. They make Amsterdam look like some kind of den
of evil with junkies and red lights everywhere (of course they do most
of the shooting in the red light district, where all the hot action</span>
is). Basically, the police just ride around on their bikes and give out
bonnetjes (tickets, citations) to drunken wildplassers and cracked out
people who fall asleep in the road. There is the occasional car chase
scene as they go after a teenage boy speeding on his motorbike and
sometimes they fish people and cars out of the canals. It is really
lame because the camera-work and the editing try to emulate the
American series, but the Dutch situations are always so silly and
non-threatening in comparison.

lol yeah i saw that...actually its quite sad.Yeah theres a lot of crime in dam but its not like you have shootings or anything...and it quite shocked me when van Gogh was murdered,and i was like 50m away


when swim was younger he got "busted" a few times by the friendly amsterdam cops...dunno he never got any ticket or anything just a warning since the amount was always for personal use.and btw it was never weed


And i rather like dutch cops,they are quite tolerant when it comes to drugs,and when you compare them to the cops swim has met well they seem like puppies...and they dont tend to chain you to the radiator or anything...or beat you up for making a wiseass remark,and than charge you for assulting an officer....nice timid puppies

Going back to how customs would react to finding mushrooms, a recent loophole in Irish law now allows one to buy and carry wet magic mushrooms on them. I dunno whether the legislation is official enough to let me through safe though.

I'm going on Tuesday so I want some info quick. Are they likely to find the mushrooms if I just throw it in my suitcase under a pile of clothes? Does anyone have a proper understanding of how their luggage x-ray inspections work?

I'm also considering bringing back some weed and hash but I may well be forced to throw it in a condom and swallow it unless I can think of a better way. Normally I wouldn't risk bringing back gear but you have to understand that living in Ireland, good quality marijuana is grossly over-priced and only comes along every blue moon.

The main question however is...would customs somehow be able to detect cannabis on me if it was wrapped in plastic and in my stomach? Rumour has it that they have devices now that can detect such stunts.

How about sending it anonymously to yourself? Ofcourse there's a chance for it to be lost, but it doesn't involve you or swallowing condoms. It has become topical for SWIM to start thinking something like that too.

BTW the magic mushroom risotto is an idea that some chef intrested in fusion cooking should probably try.

SWIM didn't need to use or import mushrooms last summer because when he came back from his holiday, Ireland was in mushroom-mania with places sprouting up overnight selling them legally. Needless to say, he enjoyed several months of good mushroom trips until they were banned in a knee-jerk reaction from the government. So all in all, the story didn't have a happy ending.
