Setting - SWIM's first time and questions on music.

Heya all. SWIM who's relatively new to drugs and experiences is just dropping by here to generally ask a few questions about LSD and the best way to set oneself up for an enjoyable first time experience. He's never experienced any hallucinogenics before, and although is not "scared" or afraid of dipping his toe into the waters of the expanded mind, has a few questions to ask.

--Firstly, SWIM has a preference to listen to darker industrial electronic music such as, but not limited to Chemlab, Combichrist, Ohgr, Skinny Puppy, ect.... Would it be a bad idea to choose said music for his first LSD experience based upon it's "dark-ness"? Further, would other music such as The Prodigy or so on be best avoided due to the general intensity, regardless of his level of comfort with it? Or should he just stick to good ole' Infected Mushroom which he finds trippy enough just while being high on dear Mary Jane?

---SWIM also wonders how he should expect others to react to music like this if they are also tripping at the time. He does plan on having a Trip Sitter there who is rather experienced, but would any here have advice on what to expect from music? SWIM is mostly interested in the musical part of a trip, followed by the personal soul searching.

--And lastly, SWIM is just wondering about the potential long-term ramifications behind LSD and what it may change as far as the other substances he uses, namely cannabis. SWIM doesn't necessarily know why, but has a tendency to become -extremely- high off very little MJ, even after smoking for several years. Assuming this is due to his general mental state, should he be more wary of LSD and it's effects? Has anyone else grown up this way and finds other drugs different since tripping?
