Overdose - gbl overdose?

swims just come back from a festival, on the friday night, swims freind was wasted on alcohol, lots of pills and coke, but was begingin to crash, so had gbl so he could sleep, only he had lost the dripper, so he just necked it from the bottle, then gave some to another freind who also necked it from the bottle

at first it was like a good fucked, they were both having a proper awesome time, kinda tempted me to have some, but ive heard so much bout mixing gbl and alcohol that i couldent be arsed with it

after bout half hour, 45 mins, one of swims mate started kicking the floor, punching the floor rollin around half moaning half gigling, and swims other mate had just completley passed out

swim started gettin a bit paranoid bout it, (this was bout 6 in the morning, and he had been up all night on anything he could find but gbl) so he got the medics to come and check em out, who then said they were both in a very bad state - one wasent breathing, and the other one was shouting help amongst growls whilst rolling in the mud, so the paramedics and took them to hospital.

they both came round at about 10 oclock, discharged themselves and came back to the festival, happy as larry though the hospital did pump them some drugs, they also didnt remember a thing

did swim do the right thing by gettin medics?
