Tobacco enhancing marijuana experiences?

SWIM just came off a good high and now SWIM smoked a cigarette. SWIM got not only a nice buzz but the body high he or she had gotten before (waves of euphoric heat... SWIM thinks it was some Indica or something), in that it seemed to return to SWIM. Is it possible that nicotine sort of "reboots" or enhances the effects of marijuana?
