Drug info - Too much LSD per hit?

I was reading the LSD tab thread and it made me wonder about something. Have there been any cases of hits containing way to much LSD? Is this why there are some people who really are burned out because of LSD?

I'm sure repeatedly dosing with hits of very high potency would burn someone out faster than normal, but honestly...



I've never heard anyone complain of hits that were too potent.
Only, "damn...that was a powerful hit!" Fuck eating ten-strips
for a good fry, I want a nice 300-400mic hit !

Yea, but for a first time user, a 400 microgram hit would probably scare the shit out of them.

Very rarely! My hits usually contain never enough!

Who is interested in putting to much Acid on blotter...just the costumers.

You need to be really really lucky to find anything higher than 150
these days, since most blotters have around 60-80µg . (My information
source were some testings by eve&rave in the end 90ties)

I read about some red hearts somewhere that were like supposedly 350-500ug each. That seems like way too much to me. Although, I would love to get my hands on some of those, lots of people would be terrified by such a high dose.

one of my friends once took almost 900 mics of LSD (due to the fact that
he makes his own) and he's turned out fine. although he said that he was
lucky to not have become a casualty. i was there with him to keep an eye
on him whilst he did it and he said 300 mics was the least he'd ever do,
although he only does it once a month at the most.

also, does falling asleep whilst on LSD do anything to you or is it just
pointless?

around here last year there was some crazy blotter going around that got alot of people WAY TO wacked.

Phaw! Back in 1974 the average hit for windowpane acid was 400mcg. We knew then that windows were the top. Microdots were around 100 - 200mcg. And blotter was questionable - at best. So...windowpane was the way to go - if you had nothing else to do. Ahhh! The good old days!


To my knowledge, the strongest LSD25 ever released in quantity was from Owsley. It was his Batman Acid - a solid 500mcg per tablet in 1968. A small tablet with the Batmen logo on a small purple pill. There was also a black tablet marked LBJ in honor of then-president Lyndon Baines Johnson. It was 300mcg and advertised as "Guaranteed to be a bummer." Help us all if someone markets blotter with a picture of Bush on it!

Now days it is pretty unlikely that you will find LSD that is too potent. Im my opinion LSD that has right around 100 micrograms per hit and is sold at a low price is best. People that want stronger trips can jsut take more and people that want less will not get more tripped out than they desire.
