Start with that clean wedge-shaped one all the way to the left, or maybe one of the bigger wedgies on top... feel it against your fingers as you drop it in. Your head drops back, and you can hear a flicking sound, as the flame rises with a "poof" in slow motion at the top of the Bic, blue on the bottom and yellower toward the top. Your hand lowers, and the flame caresses the top of the glass, dipping gently inward as you start inhaling...

Very nice description. My only question is you dont melt it into the brillo first? I had a roomate in jail and he used to talk to me about it (i've never done it and i was just curious what it was like) and he said he melts it into the brillo and then hits that.

It can be done either way, with similar results... either melt it into the brillo first, or just hit it right away. Melting it prevents the telltale crackling sound (and maybe works slightly better, depends on the filter). Also, with a straight pipe you don't have to tip your head back if you melt it in first.Edited by: Nicaine

SWIM's not that big of a fan of that stuff, but damn Nicaine, you've got him practically itchin to be itchin. He says he would go with the one at the 2.5 marker right in the middle vertically, the one thats bright pink with white flecks on top.
