Using ethnos while missing out the laborious preparation methods
Can it be done? SWIM refers principally to the practise of making many ethnos into a (usually foul-tasting) tea. He is aware that with some of them this might be the best method, but frankly it has lead to SWIM drifting away from these sorts of drugs.
There are so many that interest him, mainly the relaxants/sedatives and also mood-lifting stimulants too. In the past he has found that simple ingestion of the plant/herb is perfectly sufficient to feel decent effects. Do other SWIY's have this attitude? Spending 1-2 hours making a tea which might only result in placebo at best (with the milder herbs anyway). In this case, might SWIM be better advised to try out extracts/isolates of plants which are of interest to him, given that most can either be smoked or ingested with no great loss in effects? |
