Combinations - Mixing stuff with Magic Mushrooms.

Hello I and some friends are planning a little trip, a large part of this trip is the drugs.
to get sown to the point, what would the effect of mixing
pot
Oxycodone
Alcohol
with Mushrooms? Although I have done those before I have never mixed them/done mushrooms.
any feedback would be fantastic.

Please don't incriminate yourself. Learn to SWIM. Anyhow, SWIM hasn't combined alcohol and oxy with shrooms, but from what I've read and knowing the effects of these three drugs, the combination is pointless. Save the alcohol for another time, the oxy for the come-down maybe.

Shrooms are a very powerful drug, so respect them. If SWIY has yet to try shrooms, try it alone the first time and get a feel for it. Once SWIY is more experienced and is comfortable with shrooms, SWIY can start thinking of combinations.

SWIM would reccomend MDMA + shrooms for a nice combo.

all of those have been relatively safe for SWIM. dont mix alot of oxy with alcohol tho. Many people have died from this. as far as effects:
pot goes great with anything
alcohol and shrooms makes SWIM feel more out of it than actually trippin(SWIM doesnt notice/care as much about visuals and other cool stuff associated with mushies.
SWIM hasnt ate any painkillers during any trips(smoking opium on comedown is nice), but thinks it would be more euphoric and chill(he likes painkillers). and he prolly wouldnt think about/feel the mushroom trip as much with PKs either.

In conclusion, i think either alcohol or oxy would take a good bit away from a psychadelic experience. Besides, shrooms are a great buzz alone

a based in pharmacology theory is the two would contradict the other, antagonizing the drunk/tripping receptors back to sanity. shrooms cause a cerebral awaking amount of glutamic acid to be released (the panic hormone), while alcohol's main effect is the inhibition successfully achieved through retarding the panic molecule by allosterically making gaba more efficient.

swim has never mixed sedatives and psychs but imagines they would cancel eachother to some degree?

Firstly, you should definitely experience the shrooms by themselves first. If you have never experienced a psychedelic drug before it will be a vastly different experience to anything you have taken before. You will be tripping for around eight hours, so you possible if you are comfortable half way through the trip you might consider having some cannabis, though keep in mind that this makes some people dizzy. For SWIM mushrooms help him appreciate being stoned much more, although the cannabis is in the background; it becomes just an enjoyable factor of the more dominant shroom trip (although people can and do react in different ways).

SWIM has never mixed opiates or alcohol with psychedelics, but while tripping the idea of polluting what he is feeling by also getting drunk repulses SWIM (your tastes may change considerably while under the influence of shrooms, which is another reason to experience them first without combinations).

Definitely listen to pumpkin and never combine opiates with alcohol.

After a couple trips, swim's completely lost his taste for alcohol, probably after having a smirnof ice while commin out of an LSD trip and the drank just felt like it had too much of a bodyload for swim. Hasn't enjoyed drinking since.

But definitly experience psychedelics on their own, maybe with some bud. But bud will intensify it a lot. Would love to know how psychedelics mix with opiates. Probably great for meditation

Thanks alot fellas, sorry about that I'll edit my post. Anyhow Swim is pretty well versed with alcohol, Pot and oxycodone, it's just an odd little road trip Swim and co and are planning. Swim is just afraid it will give him a bad/shitty trip.

In SWIM's opinion, opiates and benzos go really well with mushrooms. SWIM likes heavy visuals with medium level abstract thinking; not to be totally blasted out of his mind so that he isn't even capable of enjoying the experience, and finds that either or will typically deliver this experience, and protect you from the kind of anxiety which will induce a bad trip. If you are in a social situation, SWIM likes to mix opiates and cocaine with mushrooms, because then you are capable of thinking clearly enough to talk to people (being in a very funny disposition); capable of having a good time, and having a partially muted but still highly enjoyable and definitely felt mushroom experience.

Perc: Yes, good insurance policy against a bad trip.
Pot: If you are the type of person that it chills you out 100% of the time you smoke it, yes. If it makes you paranoid, ever, then no, don't risk it.

Cool thanks, yeah it always chills me out or makes dumb/giggly. The only time i ever ger paranoid is going out in public, and even then i can take it.

A few years ago, SWIM and AFOAF experimented by taking about 3 grams of mushrooms combined with about 500mg of DXM (extracted powder in capsule form). SWIM took the DXM first, followed by the mushrooms about 20 minutes later. SWIM said it was one of the most interesting experiences he's ever had, especially when he then inhaled a few balloons of nitrous oxide. According to SWIM it was like his body was being remote controlled, as if SWIM's mind was elsewhere in reality and was controlling his body from a remote location. At the same time, SWIM said it felt like he was inside his remote controlled body, saying it was a very interesting experience. SWIM and AFOAF still recall this trip as one of their favorite experiments.

SWIM stopped using DXM recreationally though, since it felt "dirty" to him. He experienced quite a body load from it, it would make him itch all over (especially on the scalp) and he said the only way to make it feel better was to smoke a bit of pot. This would, in his words, "almost instantly" take the itching away for a short while, but in the end the itching still proved to be too much and SWIM wasn't finding the overall experience as enjoyable. SWIM had also noticed his blood pressure increased while taking recreational doses of DXM, something he wasn't comfortable with.

SWIM still dabbles with magic mushrooms though. SWIM's favorite mushroom trip companion (besides pot) is the combo of nitrous oxide and inhaled ether. The ether seems to prolong the rush of excellent feelings SWIM gets when inhaling nitrous oxide after ingesting magic mushrooms. SWIM told me that he prefers to do this just before the peak of the mushroom trip, and finds it really enhances the psychedelic nature of the trip and seems to prolong the peak itself.

Swims first time doing X was while he was on 3.5g's of mushies. It was the hardest he has ever tripped. swim just tried 7 g's of mushies 5 days ago, and it was very intense as well, but only lasted about 5 hrs. Swim is planning tommorrow, to combine 7 g's again, but with 5 lsd hits ( the hits are underdosed) at the beach He hopes all goes well!

swim wouldnt personaly mix downers and intoxicant with shrooms because it would just ruin the mush trip

SWIM finds that mushroom coffee is fantastic but SWIM gets nausea's after half an hour. pot helps a lot with this problem after six hours its good to have a downer or pk to help with come down makes for good road tripping watching the corn fields sing
