Oral use - How to eat weed

SWIM sometimes smokes pot at work when they are working the night shift. Smoking always stinks up SWIM's workplace and their breath and SWIM is wondering a good way to eat it, as SWIM has never eaten weed before.

SWIM has double boilers at their work, so would it be possible to throw some butter on the top with the weed, and boil it and then eat it?

SWIY could heat it in cooking oil, or butter and eat it, or strain it and squeeze it out then add more, and repeat until it was very saturated, then use that in a recipe. SWIY could add it to high proof alcohol for a few days, then strain and squeeze out, and evaporate the alcohol to a small concentrated amount and do a tiny shot, but that may not be great for work. If one uses butter, be sure not to overheat the butter, and there are a couple different teks on making ganja butter. SWIM loves to eat ganja brownies or rice krispy treats, infused with ganja oil, and it is probably one of his favorite ways to get high.. Either way, one basically adds the herb to heated oil or butter, being careful not to burn either, then lets it simmer for at least 20-30 minutes stirring occasionally, then strains it out and squeezes all the goodies out of the used herb. How strong one wants it is adjusted by how much herb is added, and one can filter out the first batch of herb to add a second batch of fresh herb or trim to further concentrate the potency.

How much weed would SWIM need to cook into the butter to make it actually work.

Also, SWIM has never EVER tried to cook weed, so they need to know basically everything, how small to cut the weed up, how much butter to use, everything right down to the basics.

I agree with Crookedeye. THC is extremely liposoluble, so swiy can extract THC with oil or butter. My junky-rat prefers butter, taste better than oil, and with butter ( Marrakech's butter ) swiy can make cake, or cooking a lot of good recipe ( cookies, slice of bread and THC's butter in hot chocolate milk, good to begin a wonderfull days... )
