Combinations - Phenibut - interactions and dosage ?

Swim just recieved a 50g tub of phenibut in the post today bought hoping it will help him sleep better and not wake up so early. Swim takes 2g piracetam , 300 mg rhodiola (mao-b inhibitor) daily during the day, and on this occasion took 250 mg of PEA at 9.30 this morning. Swim read some horror stories of taking pea with phenibut which have worried him slightly. Is it still safe to take phenibut in the evening to help swim sleep as the PEA and rhodiola were taken in the morning ? Also what dosage of phenibut is recommended to help sleep and how long before going to bed ? is the hangover the next day avoidable since swim is working toimmrow ?

PEA is certainly an endogenous stressful. PEA, natural amine which have the same structure of the amphetamine and like it stimule the liberation of dopamine. ( so induce anxiety )

Phenibut is similar to GABA but with a phenyl ring ( to better penetration of the hemato-encephalic barrier). He acts like an imitator of GABA essentially in GABAB and also in a lesser measure in GABAA². It's also increase dopamine but sighltly.

PEA is an antagonist of beta-phenyl-gamma-aminobutyric acid.

When they're consume together they can induce high anxiety, hypertherm, etc..
Beta-phenylethylamine have a short half life.
I'm not sure but with IMAO-B half life is more longer than without...

Anyway, taking phenibut to induce sleep it's not very a good idea, tolerance arrives very fast, and the dosage for sedative effect are between 2gr/4gr...after one week of utilisation you can take double dose!

Don't give to your rat PEA an phenibut in the same time, and try to find an alternativ to induce sleep...

thanks for the warning on combining with pea , swim will not take phenibut tonight just incase. what about taking it to help swim sleep after taking stimulants like mephedrone ?

Swim doesn't have any knowledge to answer.

But benzo are more effective for come down.
Opiate too.

Swim is not sure that phenibut can induce sleep after mephedrone ( not enough strong ) but the day after if swiy feel anxious phenibut can help him for sure.
