Dose - Is 25 mg xr of adderall too much for our first time?

My friend and I were given 25 mg xr tablets. Neither of us have ever taken adderall although both of us have tried cocaine and I very much enjoy it. I am a female, 5'6'' 140 lbs. My friend is a male, 6'0'' 152 lbs. How will this dosage affect each of us? Is there a HIGH risk of extreme side effects for our dosage and size? We have heard that 25 mg is a high dosage, even for those who have ADD like our friend. We plan on taking them around 10 in the morning and are of course, expecting to be up and about for a long period of time. I would appreciate honest evaluations made to the best of your knowlege asap! Thank you!

swim is taking 20mg IR twice a day, 1 25mg XR (taken orally uncrushed) would probably be ok.

plenty of people are started on 10mg twice a day, and generally abuse doses are higher then normal starting doses.

Well, Swim's first time he took about 40mg of Adderall xr. And 28 hours later he just started to come down. So he would advise to start at a low dose.
He also found this chart helpfull:

Swim would recommend the 'good' level of high for a beginner. So just one of those tablets will do the trick. Just be careful, once Swiy starts, Swiy might keep taking them. That's what happened to Swim. (He started out with 30mg and ended up taking at least 40mg, which turned out not to be pleasent.)

a single 40 mg XR caused you to not sleep for 28 hours? wow.. because swim was started on 40mg / day by his doctor, with zero tolerance to any uppers. (And the doctor knew that.. he asked swim if he's ever taken stimulates before, swim said no)

If swiy did coke, then swiy should be fine. it might even be too little of a dose as well. SWIY can smash the little beads with a cigarette lighter (beads covered and protected by a folded piece of paper) and rail the powder.
But if Swiy is going to take it orally, you'd be okay. It'll be like drinking hella coffee.
Swim's first time with 30mg XR last summer wasn't that bad. For Swim's 2nd ever dose, he did double (60mg) and had fun.

speed is a LLLOOOOONNNNGGG high, especially compared to cocaine! Swim's first dose was 80mg (guess he trusted a friend TOO much haha) and was fuckin motorin all over the place! it was quite a lot for a first timer, and to this day thinks its a lot, but swim doesn't have a tolerance but is used to the drug's effects and how to handle it. But as for a beginner dose, no more than 40mg is needed, but seeing that swiy got 25mg, it should be ok to up it 10mg to 50mg total being that swiy has experience with an upper. Oh, and as for the experience, it's a lot like coke, minus the feel-good part.
