Injecting - Need help hitting somewhere other than swims arms!

Swim used to use with her boyfriend, he used to shoot her up. Swim had a needle break off in the bend of her arm once and ended up with a big scar making that spot impossible. She recently started using again and missed that spot in the other arm, making it impossible for the time being. Swim spent forever trying to hit another spot, the tops and bottoms of her arms, her thighs, even the inside of her ankles but must be doing something wrong because she can't seem to hit the vein.

After the blood in swims rig started to coagulate, she had to give up and monkey water her h. She has one bag left and would really rather not waste it like the last two but she doesn't know what she's doing wrong and doesn't have anyone to ask right now, so swim is hoping swiy might have some tips on how to hit another spot. None of her other viens are cashed or have even been touched but she just can't seem to get this right! Any advice?
