Injecting crack with kool aid
Hey, SWIM was just wondering if anyone knows whether using kool aid to break down crack to inject has any negative health issues (besides the obvious). SWIM was using lemon juice but switched to kool aid recently, and just wanted to know if anyone knows more about it.

Kool Aid Ingredients (from WikiAnswers):
The "unsweetened" form of Kool Aid contains fruit flavoring, citric acid, calcium phosphate, salt and Vitamin C. Some flavors add maltodextrin if natural fruit solids are used.

The "sugar free" mixes add aspartame (Nutrasweet) and acesulfame potassium.

The "sugar sweetened" mix adds sugar, sodium citrate, and the preservative BHA.

Beyond the "obvious" problems of injecting such things as "fruit flavoring", "natural fruit solids", BHA and Acesulfame K... Na, this is a perfectly safe thing to do.

Kool Aid tastes disgusting. As far as I'm concerned the only things Kool Aid is good for are mass suicides and injecting crack.

In short, injecting SWIYself with anything unsterile is begging for trouble, and Kool-Aid is just about as unsterile as you can get. Not to mention that, once made, Kool-Aid has a high water content. Excess water in the bloodstream can cause blood vessels to burst as they undergo osmosis. The other ingredients in Kool-Aid would also be more than unwelcome in SWIY's system.
