Drug info - Blotter LSD different to liquid?

SWIM's nephew was in town the other day and we were sitting around talking about his LSD and he told me that his LSD (which was blotter) was different than liquid LSD. I always thought blotter paper was soaked into the liquid, but he says that you would definately lose a substantial amount of it, and you need a slightly different synthesis to put it on the paper. Is this true?

Botter paper is the same stuff they used when they wrote with ink pens because its baosrbent so when you put the paper in liquid it ABSORBS the LIQUID, blotter=liquid soaked paper

Well, they are different, considering one is liquid, and one is on a paper, but as far as effects, it is the same shit.


Also, there is more of a chance of liquid LSD being something different like a research chemical. Only a handful of chemicals have a low enough threshold dose to be active on blotter.Edited by: raven3davis

Lets say hypethically soemone has a vial of a liquid to put onto paper. Will any paper work? Would they have to by special absorbant paper? What about photograph paper? (it is thicker than printer paper, swim put a drop of a liquid, it seemed to absorb fully and dried within a minute) Im guessing this would work the same but without the pretty paper?

Swim is not using LSD or anythign illegal but the principal is the same. A response ASAP would be appreciated.

Just google for "blotter paper" It is thicker and more absorbant than printer, notebook, etc paper

the funniest thing Ive ever been witness too was someone trying to make blotter. the poor sap mixed in everclear thinking he could speed the drying process, he then had something on the order of 4000 hits of NOTHING. lmao, or well isolysergic acid DEA, totally inactive, he ended up having to do water extraction then bomb cooking with HCL acid to fix it, losing all but about 1/4th of his product. basicly blotter paper acts similarily to the water in liquid, it keeps it from direct heat and light, although not at all as well as water, which has the peculiar property of actually BENDING the UV light around the rather large unstable molecule, meaning that as a salt, in water, it has a nearly indefinite lifespan.


@ robocop, if were talking LSD yes almost any paper thicker than a few microns will work. average lined paper IME doesnt work well AT ALL, its way too thin, construction paper works great, the darker the better for some reason. but real blotter is the way to go because of its thickness, you can find it at almost any staples et cetera.Edited by: allyourbase
