Afghan Black Incense Resin

Says on the packet that it's hand made in India. And the ingredients listed are:

Betula utilis resin + Flavours.

I think, if i remember correctly, that one of the flavours listed was hemp.

Comes in a sealed tin foil packet, like with Spice Gold and others.
When my pet first opened up the packet and smelt inside he was surprised by how real it smelt! Smelt just like some nice black hash he used to get back in the day.
He says it also felt like the real thing, when snaked or burned and crumbled. Was very pliable. And it also smelt like the real deal when burning.
Looked just like the real stuff too.
Quite amazed, he was.

Unfortunately my silly wee monkey only tried this whilst he was detoxing off opiates, so he can't really speak of it's effects. He knows it's because he was in withdrawals that he never really felt anything, because the same thing happened when he smoked a herbal blend which has worked many times in the past for him.
It seems to be quite a popular product though, and all the reviews i've seen for it are all positive.
My pet will probably try some again in the near future, so will be able to speak of it's effects then.

Have any of your pets tried this?

Re: Afghan Black Incense Resin

Interesting. The only vendor swim could find carrying it is one he's repeatedly heard referred to as a rip off (sending unpackaged products in place of product/brands ordered).

If swiy has a digital camera could swiy upload a better image of the packaging?

It was a few weeks ago that my monkey sampled this, so he no longer has the packaging. Sorry.

Skunk smoking blend is not a very strong blend. So that may put the advice in perspective.

Re: Afghan Black Incense Resin

SWIM recommends a bong or pipe for ease, with a gauze, be careful with the resin its nice and stong

SWIM and SWIMs pal put .2g in a bong the other night, SWIM has quite a tolerance now so finishing the bong after SWIMs pal only took ONE lungful was no problem. SWIM said athough you maybe feeling the effect almost immediately in about 5+ mins time it will hit SWIMs pal like a brick (jhw018?), boy did it, SWIMs pal was a bit shocked, comments like "are you sure you can trust this stuff isnt poison" and "i am struggling to get any words out". a few reassuing comments from SWIM managed to calm things down before too much panic set in..

Yes, very strong indeed, but lovely..

I think, due to the high price, he may be reffering to Skunk : A New Breed Of Weed, which Swim finds very strong, but dirty.

Resin blends are something swim never contemplated. He would pick a decent resin blend over a decent grass based blend anyday because he personally prefers the aesthetics/rituals behind burning and crumbling some nice hashish over grinding down and sprinkling some nice weed.

Re: Afghan Black Incense Resin

The only thing Swim is worried about is resin would be far easier to rip people off with. Get any old 'resin' that weights 3 grams dipped into the cannabinoid of your choosing and quantity.

We are already starting to see quiet a lot of new blends grass based contain bits of hard rock and twigs.

Re: Afghan Black Incense Resin

Swim thinks there are a few suspicious black hashes popping up in the UK.

Looks real, smells real but ain't real.

Swim wonders if the effects were this synthetic cannabnoid.

Re: Afghan Black Incense Resin

SWIM received a 1g packet of this on Friday along with his new order of Magic Silver (his favorite, he prefers trippy blends) and Tribal Warrior Ultimate blueberry (which he has not yet tried). He decided on an impulse to give the resin a try Saturday night. In the two broad categories of either trippy or physical effects, this is solidly on the physical side, and SWIM would replace virtually every other blend for physical effects he has previously tried with this. (The exception being possibly Enigma, but only when SWIM has no tolerance; with tolerance Enigma does not produce the quirky physical sensations which made it so enjoyable.)

SWIM is writing this admittedly very long post because there is very little written here about it, in fact this may be the only thread that has even casually discussed it, and SWIM was thoroughly impressed. SWIM also types very quickly, and is prone to rambling in text as a result.

Subject: Male, 250 pounds depending on the time of year
Dosage: Total dose 100mg estimated, no more than 200, likely closer to 100mg
Administration: Smoked via 5-inch sherlock bubbler
Setting: At home with wife on a Saturday night watching movies on the couch
Duration of effects: 1-2 hours estimated
Main effects: Physical stone, very brief euphoria, no notable sedation, enjoyment and enhancement of enjoyment through strong relaxation, immediate-term memory and language interruption
Side effects: Hungry, happy, horny
After effects: Very long, very deep sleep
Rating of experience: 4/5 physical effects, missing only the sensory changes SWIM personally enjoys but which others may find bothersome; 2/5 mental effects, no trippiness at all, only very brief euphoria, but did induce a lack of self-consciousness which for SWIM permitted a more sociable feeling and behavior. SWIM would use this a lot, and given the smell and presentation along with the effects would replace many other blends as daily smokers with it. Difficult to say if it is "stronger" than something else, but it's for real and enjoyable.

PACKAGING
Packaging looks like the picture linked by the OP above as near as SWIM can tell. SWIM has attached images (at the bottom of this post) of the front and back, however SWIM's digital camera is poor, and the color of these images is off, with everything looking redder than it should. (The package is laying on a very bright white surface, which looks reddish-tan in these images.)

Package is a thick silver non-transparent ziplock with a tear-open seal. SWIM's package does not have what appears to be a blue line immediately above the tan label such as is seen in the OP's picture above approximately where the ziplock would be, however since the package is reflective that could be an artifact in the OP's picture. Tan label, vaguely persian-carpet-like pattern as a background, clay-colored symbol of Afghanistan stamped in the center, small flag of Afghanistan at the bottom. The front reads "Afghan Incense," "HELP FLAVOR," and "HIGHLY PERFUMED HAND MADE INCENSE". On the back is a similar tan sticker with a large white area which reads as follows (all misspellings and punctuation errors are exactly as they appear on the package):

Quote:
Ingradients: Betula utilis, Flavors + "Essential Oils"
Caution: burn 0,5 sic gram inside an appropriate
incense burner on a fire proof and heat resistance surface only.
Keep away from humidity and sources of heat.
Keep away from the reach of children.
NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION,
DO NOT INGEST
Net weight 1 gram when packed.
Hand made in India
Below this on the remaining tan area of the sticker is a white circle with a black border, inside of which is a red six-pointed star, the center of which is another small white circle with some sort of black logo SWIM cannot discern. Between the star and the edge of the logo's circle curve the words "World of Incenses" and the same words upside down curve beneath the star. SWIM includes this because he can find no reference to this name in Google, and it does not describe his source; he is not sure why it is included on the package.

PRODUCT
SWIM's digital camera could not get a good picture of the product. Up close it looks like a blob, from further away the detail cannot be made out. SWIM needs a better camera. SWIM was somewhat distracted during preparation, and did not think to weigh the product immediately out of the bag. The product appears as a very dark brown, almost black lump with flat cut planes all around, and a flat top and bottom (which appear to be made flat in some way other than cutting, as their texture and appearance are slightly different than on the cut sides.) Altogether there are 8 sides to the lump. Under direct light there are almost imperceptible but discrete glitter-like glints, extremely tiny and numerous. On the side with the larger two cut planes the product is lighter in color than the rest, but only very slightly so. If SWIM were not so used to looking at very minor color variations on a day-to-day basis he probably would not really notice this.

The smell of the product is difficult for SWIM to place. He has a very sensitive nose, but does not have the experience to pick out and separate what he is smelling. It smells like no other blend SWIM has tried, and SWIM's experience list is growing long at this point. It definitely has a whiff of "tobacco" to it, but something or somethings else hit him strongly, familiar but confusing. With no direct experience with tobacco usage, but a moderate amount of second-hand experience, SWIM immediately recognizes one of the smells, but there is sort of a sweet chocolate and possibly clove-like smell spiking out of that, and this changes if the product is pulled slowly away from the nose while inhaling. It smells better than that may sound, in fact it smells quite good.

The "lump" is fairly hard, making a solid clack when dropped against glass, and it does not feel malleable when squeezing it until a good deal of pressure is applied. It is easy to separate a section from the lump using a fingernail (SWIM's nails are closely trimmed and he had no problem, although even with closely-shorn nails there was sticky residue to remove from beneath the nail afterward.) The separated amount crumbles easily, the product has some stick/tack to it but it is not goopy or difficult to manipulate.

SMOKING
SWIM had only a mini-bubbler with some glass daisies handy, and having never used a resin before he wasn't sure exactly how to use it, so he simply separated a chunk off of one of the several corners on the lump and crumbled it up. He dropped a bit of this crumbled amount into the mini-bubbler's fairly deep and wide bowl, and the product stuck pretty well on its own. SWIM also tried simply sticking a bit of the product to the side of the bowl, and this worked well. If SWIM did not have the glass daisies there was still little danger of not being able to keep it from tumbling down into the water.

SWIM then used a basic BIC lighter (with about 40% fuel left and a diminished flame versus new) on the resin. With typical blends one pull of the flame into the bowl for a moment will light anywhere from a small to a large portion of the material, but here SWIM had to allow the flame to contact the resin for a few to several seconds before seeing much activity. Still, this only amounted to maybe three to five seconds. Once lit, with larger amounts of resin there often developed a small ember-like point that would stubbornly continue to burn and release a tiny whisp of smoke for some time unless extinguished. (The same thing happens with blends, but there the embers are larger and burn out faster.)

Really, aside from getting the angle for the lighter flame sometimes, it wasn't too much harder to light than a typical blend. The proximity of the flame when using SWIM's bubbler may have made it seem as though it took longer to get the resin started than it actually did.

USAGE
SWIM would divide the actual usage into two sessions. SWIM has used various blends every day for the last several weeks save for two separate one-day breaks. These blends have included Enigma, K2 Citron, Magic Silver, Genie, Pep Pourri/Pep Spice, Yucatan Fire and Spice Artic Synergy. This has included some 5-6 hour sessions, and several days where SWIM smoked up early in the day and then later as well. SWIM perceives that he had a decent amount of tolerance built up, as every blend has been having weaker and shorter effects than typically expected.

SWIM is almost embarassed to say this, but assuming the product originally weighed 1 gram as stated on the package, and if SWIM's scale is accurate, his total usage here equaled about 100mg. Keep in mind that SWIM has often been requiring higher dosages than reported of other blends to achieve effects, and SWIM is a large male. It is possible the product weighed more than 1g to begin with, or that SWIM's scale is a bit off, however just by eyeballing the product lump 100mg seems more than reasonable, as SWIM almost has trouble even telling where he broke the used product off at.

First use: SWIM used about a quarter of the corner he had crumbled off, more intending to use it to see how the product lit and burned, what it tasted like, etc. He did not perceive that much smoke was being produced, and due to inexperience he ended up attempting about four draws, with each exhale producing only a barely visible bit of smoke, and no smoke really visible in the bubble. The chocolate/clove(??) smell was virtually entirely absent upon combustion, and a strong smell of hemp replaced it. The taste was similar to the smell, with the rest of the smells more hovering in the background. As food it would not be appetizing, but it was a pleasant and, compared to most blends, tasty. After five+ minutes, SWIM was surprised to begin to feel definite effects. Some head rush, not energizing, not trippy or euphoric, sort of a generalized impact. It was not strong, but it came up suddenly after several minutes. Unlike blends with physical effects like Enigma, there was not a strange out of synch sort of vibration or sensation to it. The effects felt "like" other blends, but different somehow, smoother. SWIM commented to his better half that he was surprised such a small amount was doing anything given his tolerance, and that he wasn't expecting it. At one point, perhaps 15 minutes after use, another wave came on. Same effects but stronger. SWIM would note that he had been sitting still on the couch this entire time. SWIM has experienced the common effect in many other blends that sitting still allows the effect of a blend to settle in and have a stronger impact, while moving can in many cases do the opposite. That is what happened with the resin, but it seemed to be more profound.

Second use: SWIM was interested, and so he went back for more around half an hour after the first usage. On the second try he put the remaining already-crumbled corner of the resin into the bubbler and lit it up. Holding the flame steady on the resin right off the bat for four or five seconds or so lit the bowl up nicely, producing what SWIM perceived as a thicker smoke than he is used to seeing; it bunched up and hung beautifully in the curves and lip of his transparent sherlock-style bubbler, and which when exhaled seemed to produce rounder, fuller clouds of smoke than the dispersing jet of smoke SWIM's same exhalation pattern produces with blends.

SWIM's bubbler is harsher than the larger bongs, but SWIM did not think the smoke was harsh; he may have been more distracted by the unusual taste and smell of the smoke, though. It was certainly not as harsh as some blends. SWIM wonders how well some of these hits would have made it through a larger bong with more water; the bubbler is a 5-incher and carries only a small amount of water. SWIM also enjoy inhaling the escaped smoke from the bowl, which would float slowly up the pipe and was easily caught and inhaled through SWIM's nose while clearing the bubbler itself.

EFFECTS
The effects from the larger bowls did not seem to peak notably higher despite the greatly increased quantity, but they did become more pervasive. SWIM might describe it as filling more volume under an effect ceiling, spreading out horizontally and becoming denser, more than actually raising the ceiling higher. This might be because of the pre-loading smaller dose he used initially. He has frequently found that if he hits a blend a little bit and then waits for a while before hitting the rest he has much more trouble reaching a higher peak no matter how much he subsequently uses.

The exception here is that at one point about 20 minutes after the second bowl SWIM felt a warming/numbing patch of skin spreading out on his back, the sort of effect he gets randomly on cannibanoids, usually trigged by the brush of clothing or something that seems to warp the sensation. When this happened SWIM thought about something and began giggling uncontrollably, however by the time SWIM was laughing he had entirely forgotten what it was that had made him laugh, and he still cannot remember. There were no other instances of euphoria and no trippiness. The effects were almost entirely physical.

On that note, there were some things SWIM has not experienced on any other blend:

1. Trouble operating his pipe. He spilled some water out of the carb on the front of the bubbler while tilting it to get the flame into the bowl. (He felt a little uncomfortable having the flame so close to his face for so long to get the resin lit, and because the resin was on the sides of the bowl it was a little difficult to get the right angle to get the flame directly onto it. He knew this was going to happen, but the mechanical movements of trying to do this without spilling the water out seemed disjointed. He noted this discoordination of coordinated movements in a few other ways as well.

2. Immediate-term memory issues: SWIM has experienced a variety of memory issues on other blends, but this time things would literally pass through SWIM's mind and be instantly forgotten. He knew he had just said or thought something, but he was not sure what. This was not constant and did not make him feel stupid, in fact inside his mind he felt pretty good.

3. Language issues: again, SWIM has sometimes experienced issues with word selection and vocalization, however with other blends SWIM has typically realized that he has slurred or garbled a word or is having trouble getting a word out as he is doing it, causing him to stop and try to correct himself. This time around, however, SWIM would say words fluidly that were flatly mispronounced, or which were even just flatly the wrong words, but it would take several seconds to really register that it had happened, and meanwhile he would be talking on. (Versus the real-time realization and attempt at correction.) Put another way, with these types of language issues under other blends SWIM realized it and could even focus on it; here there was a failure to process and recognize the error. SWIM also found himself repeating not just words (which he has done sometimes with other blends when he trips over them and tries to re-say them correctly), but sometimes entire sentences. Similar, but different.

4. Couch lock: SWIM has seen this term used many times, and he has experienced what he calls the tractor beam-like effect he gets from Enigma (which feels like something is fighting against his muscles), as well as the phenomenon of having a physical stone set in the longer he sits around. This product created a similar but different version of this, including what seemed like a physical disinterest in getting up, even when the mind wanted to. It was as though his body was saying, "Nah, you go on and do your own thing, I'm staying here."

Again, though, it was very pleasant. There were few if any strange body sensations (SWIM enjoys those) and nothing really trippy (SWIM enjoys trippy stuff), but it was the first time SWIM has enjoyed nothing but a physical stone, something he never thought that by itself he would really look forward to. SWIM cannot say what the duration was, but probably well over an hour. SWIM wants to say around two, but honestly SWIM cannot tell. He had not intended to write up a review of the product, so he is going from memory.

SWIM did not experience anxiety or paranoia, nor does he recall any issues with heart palpitations. He does experience an increased heart rate periodically with other blends, but it's almost random, and so it is possible the resin could induce this at some other point in time. The only time SWIM had even a hint of worry was when it first came up, as it was surprising given the size of the dosage and SWIM's size and tolerance to other blends.

Now, for SWIM here's the most interesting thing, and this may be TMI for some people: regardless of how any of the blends smell in the package or when burned, SWIM always strongly perceives a common, chemical-like smell and taste to them when inhaled, the same smell that quickly stinks up the pipe or bong/bong water. It is also the same smell (here it comes) that is noticable when SWIM goes to the bathroom the next day (#2, not urination), and often for a few days afterward even if SWIM has stopped smoking. SWIM calls it chemical-like simply because it has a vague familiarity to him that he recognizes as something pungent.

To this point, if any of that smell exists with this product it is either very mild or is masked by the hemp smell. Today's bathroom visits have not revealed that chemically smell, either. There is a bit of 'something' different but at most it's a vestige of what happens with other blends.

SWIM finds this fascinating, and wonders if there is something in common with the production of all of these other blends that creates this smell, or if it's the synthetics themselves, or one specific synthetic that is present (even if not always in active amounts) in all of them. That tell-tale smell is present in nearly everything for SWIM (possibly literally everything, SWIM would have to test Enigma again), whether it's K2 or Spike99 Ultra or a Spice product. If it is present with the Afghan resin at all, it is either very slight, or it is masked by the hemp, or possibly SWIM just did not smoke as much as he normally would have and therefore the smell is not as strong. (If this was 100mg of usage, that would be anywhere from half to 25% of SWIM's typical day of usage of a blend.) And, again, SWIM is talking about post-combustion smell. SWIM has no idea if the green after combustion leaves the same smell as do blends, might be a good question for a different thread.

OPINION
SWIM's personal verdict is that he is extremely pleased with this stuff. Individually other blends do the same things, just not quite the same ... way? SWIM felt like the effects were more cohesive than distinct, more "blended" together. He admits that there may be a psychological thing going on here thanks to the difference in usage and smell, conveying a sense of a more "natural" or "real" product that caused a change in evaluation of the effects accordingly. More usage will be required to see if this is the case.

There was one potential down side: while there was no headache whatsoever the next day, SWIM slept long and hard. He didn't feel wasted, he just slept hard. SWIM usually wakes up very frequently throughout sleep and winds up getting up after five or hours (which would be a good night). SWIM smoked up, had "relations" from just after midnight until a little after 2 AM, slept until about 8 AM the next morning in what seemed like the blink of an eye, got up to use the bathroom, stumbled immediately back to bed, closed his eyes - boom, it was 4 in the afternoon. Woke up feeling like he'd slept for a year, feeling better than he's felt in quite a while.

On a final note, tonight while watching True Blood with the better half (a so-bad-it's-good vampire show) SWIM went to his office and decided to see if anything was left from last night's session. SWIM was able to get one long, slow draw with a good amount of smoke and another much smaller one out of the remnants, which was enough to get him nicely baked but with no couch lock, maybe 1/3rd of the way toward last night's peak. The effects lasted about 40 minutes, and left SWIM feeling neither tired nor headachy, definitely a shorter duration than last night, but a smaller dosage as well.

Re: Afghan Black Incense Resin

Nice post Ratha,

SWIM & another who may not even exist smoked aout 250mg in a bong each, another had 0 tolerance and SWIM had medium, we both felt almost 'salvia' trippy off it, another couldnt even get his words out, SWIM was ok though and had to reassuse the another down, coming out with dillusionial stuff, it passes quite quickly - (SWIM means the mad peak bit) so if SWIY ever takes too much, just hang on it'll soon pass!

SWIM thinks JWH018 plays a big part to this resins magic properties.

Re: Afghan Black Incense Resin

a mate had this and it didnt come in the same packaging unfortunately, probably down to the site it was from

was disapointed that the "hemp flavour" wasnt as good as it was cracked up to be, more like rubber than 'the real thing' its supposed to be like!

Re: Afghan Black Incense Resin

Just a pointer, there have been reports of unpackaged products being sold by online vendors who will misrepresent the contents. Likewise, there have also been a few reports suggesting some counterfeit products have made their way onto the market a few times.

It's good to do as much reading as you can about any vendor you consider using. Many blends require the original packaging remain unaltered as part of the wholesale license agreement and considering blend users are already indulging a large amount of uncertain variables (unknown quantities, quality, ingredients) I'd be weary of accepting anything unpackaged or altered in any way. We're already taking too many risks just by testing unknown chemicals on ourselves and should there be long-term complications most blend users won't even be able to provide specific information on which RCs they've been exposed to.

Re: Afghan Black Incense Resin

SWIM wanted to add this given his glowing initial report on Afghan Black: he initially used this several days in a row, and found it to be ridiculously potent. After that initial string of use, SWIM set the remainder of the lump aside, sealed tightly in its original container. When he returned to it several weeks later, the effects were dramatically weaker; not just weak in relative terms, but in absolute terms.

SWIM has had many products that have sat for weeks at a time after being opened, sealed back up in their ziplock packages, and not experienced anything approaching this level of decline in potency. He is unsure whether this product somehow degraded, or whether this is an issue of consistency and he had simply been using crumblings from a hotspot in the original lump. (His first several sessions were all taken from the same quarter.) If it's a matter of rapid degradation, SWIM would be content to simply use a new package up rather than ever let it sit, as his initial experiences were (as can be read above) extremely enjoyable.

Re: Afghan Black Incense Resin

I will update with a trip report once the mythical majestic monkey gets back to me with one, but here is a picture he left me, of the resin.

He said that for some reason he couldn't get the camera to focus properly close up.

Re: Afghan Black Incense Resin

Swims dopefiend dog relayed this review to him via semaphore and tail-wagging, Swim is merely translating from dog to human and passing the info on...

body weight & gender: 130lb's, Male.
dose taken: 80-120mg's estimate (Dosage shown in a pic below)
route of administration: Smoked, inhaled from small metal pipe.
Setting: in what environment it was taken: Home, relaxing bright afternoon.
duration of main effects: 1 -1:30 Hours.
main effects: Initial high, long relaxing physical stone, appetite enhancement.
side effects: Heavy on-set drowsiness at higher doses.
after effects: None noticed, smooth transition from stoned back to base.
rating of the experience: 8/10

Packaging.
Swim has been working his way through two, one gram packs of standard flavour and two, one gram packs of Hemp flavoured. As the last picture at the bottom of this post should hopefully show, the label stickers on the Hemp flavoured variety(seen on the right) are a good few shades paler than the more orange coloured label on the standard pack. The foil packs themselves are similar to the re-sealable packs that blends like tribal warrior, ex-ses etc. use, but about two thirds of the size and with a far inferior zip-lock mechanism that breaks easily.

Product.
Smell: Swim tried the hemp flavoured variety first and as soon as the seal was cut Swim caught the unmistakable smell of quality hash and was further blown away with the authentic smell that hit him when he cracked open the zip-lock. Swim used to have the chore/privilege of harvesting and trimming cannabis and in the process would collect quite a bit of finger hash on his fingers, this Afghan incense hash smells very reminiscent of that. Swim would describe it as fruity and spicy at the same time with tinges of that damp cannabis chlorophyll smell and a low note of henna. Swim got the exact same smell from the standard Afghan incense hash and would take this opportunity to state that he noticed no discernible differences between the Hemp flavoured and standard variety either in strength, smell, taste or duration. Both varieties smell mainly of henna when burned under a flame and slight bubbling can be observed when a flame is moved toward it's surface.

Touch: Tacky to the touch and pliable, not squidgy but soft to the touch and will bend before it will break, can easily be crumbled and then re-rolled/pressed back in to balls. Can use a fingernail to scoop a chunk off of a larger block and break it up for use in pipe, joint etc. Burning is not needed but may be preferred by some.

Looks:
Swim hopes the pictures at the bottom will give an idea of how similar this Afghan incense looks to the standard dark hash that appears towards the middle of Dutch coffeeshop hash menus, had Swim been sold this in a coffeeshop setting he would have never knew the difference and been happy with his purchase. Swim thinks that it looks identical to Trichome based hash and thinks that most smokers would be unable to tell the difference without the use of magnification.

Smoke,taste and effects.
Smoke and taste: Swim broke a small piece off and then broke it up in his palm with his finger nail to a finer, crumbled consistency for smoking and then placed it in to a small metal usa screw pipe with a metal gauze(picture below) and used a standard clipper lighter to spark the bowl. Swim had to keep inhaling for a bit longer than normal till all the material in the bowl was glowing but felt no pain or heat in his lungs or throat. As Swim exhaled around 5 seconds later, he caught the full taste of the Afghan incense hash which was like a more subdued version of how it smelled but with the henna taste now slightly more pervasive in the mix. Swim was very pleased by this as he finds that the taste of most blends rarely lives up to the promise of their aroma and tend to be quite bland. The smoke itself is quite heavy and hangs pleasingly in the air when exhaled, perfect for blowing smoke rings or watching tendrils of smoke drift from swiy's mouth, despite this seemingly heavy smoke Swim had no chest or throat problems after extended use and overall finds the smoke to be very smooth whether in pipe or joint.

Effects:One minute after inhaling Swim felt a rush from shoulders to head, begins staring in to the middle distance and experiencing difficulties with short term memory, pleasant rushy euphoria.

+ Four minutes in and the tingling rushy feeling in Swims head and shoulders begins permeating outward and Swim feels a wave of relaxation come over his chest, that "wrapped in cotton wool" feeling descends and Swim feels very content and gets that munchie feeling around ten minutes in.

+ Fifteen minutes in and the initial head rush has all but receded with a very clear but stoned head, notice none of the trippy qualities of Magic silver/spice diamond type blends but a significant body stone has well and truly set-in.

+ Thirty minutes in and the qualities of the stone remain unchanged, zero anxiety or paranoia and relaxed heartbeat, at this point Swim would describe the experience so far as soothing, it's a soothing smoke with a heavy but nonetheless soothing stone. Starts wearing off around the hour mark and tapers down from there till an hour and a half later when Swim is left feeling much the same as he did pre-dose.

Opinion.
Swim has been using the Afghan black incense hash for around 4 weeks and has tried both larger doses and smoking quite a lot in quick succession to try and obtain a more pronounced effect but to no avail, all it would do is make Swim have to lie down and take a nap. In normal usage Swim has found the quality of stone to be very consistent and ideal for vegging out and watching T.V as it does not seem to affect concentration or cause much in the way of mind loop. Overall Swim is very impressed with almost all aspects of this synthetic hash and it has easily found a place on Swims list, not just for the novelty of being Hash-like but for the qualities of it's stone which is distinct and fills a unique niche in Swims regularly used selection of blends.
