ETH-Oxydose
SWIM recently obtained a 30 ml bottle of ETH-Oxydose, oxycodone hydrochloride, oral concentrate solution which is 20mg/ml.
SWIM has injected 4 mg dilaudid many, many times since the 1980's to present BUT has never consumed this drug by any route, i.e. oral, IV, Im, etc. What is the best route of administration? How does 20mg of this compare to a 4 mg dilaudid? Thanks...and this is SWIM's 1st post. |

Re: ETH-Oxydose
they're two different drugs entirely. dilaudid is hydromorphone, not oxycodone.
both drugs are powerful pain killers. if swiy must do this, swim suggests starting low, in the 5mg or less range before trying anything else. in comparison to morphine on a mg basis : -hydromorphone is 8-10 times stronger than morphine. -oxycodone is 1-2 times the strength of morphine. these numbers were gathered from the internet. the only thing that can be legitimately derived from these statements is that hyrdomorphone is stronger than oxycodone by weight. please be careful, swiy. i hope this post has helped out. ~RC |
