Using heroin to kick methadone?
Hey everyone. Swim has been on Methadone program for six years and is down to 36 mg but fears she will never get off of it. She successfully lowered her dose from somewhere around 132 mg to 36mg but hasn't been able to go any further down. Swim doesnt have health insurance and here in the good old us of a docs don't have to treat you without it, so swim can't get her hands on any benzo's or sleeping pills to help with the detox.
Swim has known one or two people who have been able to use heroin to kick methadone but is no longer in contact in order to ask them. From her recollection, they used dope in small doses in place of meth and put up with the dope withdrawls which were minimal compared to the meth. Anyone know of swiy who pulled this off or tried to?
