Hallucinogens in the movie BATMAN

well i saw the movie batman yesterday and i was surprised to see as hallucinogens played a vital role in the movie (actually the villan in this movie dumped a hallucinogen into the city's water supply as a weapon). it was awesome. everyone started tripping out and getting "fear" lol because everyone else looked like deamons. even batman was tripping out when they gave it to him in his training.

it was great. especially that one court dude that got all the murders to plead for insanity as he drove them insane himself by dosing them with a hallucinogen and scaring the hell out of them with a mask.

i enjoyed the movie....what do you guys think?

I think hallucinogens offer the possibility to add great special effects to movies. Batman begins is a good example of that. Just to bad that the effect of the hallucinogen needed to be terrifying, which IMO is not good for the expectation of newbie trippers, nor for the view of the masses on hallucinogens. Cool movie though.

I can second that. Batman was a good movie overall, not just as a superhero movie.

Reccomended to all...

/That hallucinogen flower was really pretty too!

Sounds pretty good, maybe SWIM should go see it on hallucinogens to get a double effect.

I saw that movie, and the hallucinations were really scary, especially when batman was in scarecrows face. I guess the drug was fictional, but my friends and I kept joking around saying it was SHERM!

Thats a good point. Now that I think about it, it was derived from a flower, and the victims of the vapor didn't really know that they were tripping, like with datura.

LOL! Used to it or not, you would expect a certain percentage would enjoy the trip!

I think this is the Batman that everyone is talking about here. I've seen them all except Batman Begins and I don't remember anything like that.
