hypnotic properties of pentobarbital vs BZDs

Barbiturates affect more than benzodiazepine receptors.
When pentobarbital is compared to various benzodiazepines, how does its hypnotic power compare?

An anti-dote Flumazenil reverses the effect of benzodiazepines, however it does not reverse the effect of alcohol, narcotics or barbiturates. ^
