Pod Putty Problem, Horrible Smell.....
SWIM made up some pod putty and all seemed to be going well. This time he blended the material alot finer than usual to aid the extraction, which was apparently a bad idea. This time he filtered through a t-shirt as opposed to his french press to hopefully catch all the smaller particles. All seemed to be going well aside from some unusually cloudy water and now as its almost evaped (oven.) the stuff smells like DEATH!.
SWIM dissolves his putty in alcohol so he figured a little silt wouldn't hurt because its easy to pour off the alcohol. This time theres fat-looking stuff floating on the top and this awful smell. Any SWIMmers had a similar situation and maybe have a suggesting as to how to save the stuff? Thanks in advance , J |

Re: Pod Putty Problem, Horrible Smell.....
SWIM thinks that fermination took place. He would also advise using a better filter like a few coffee filters. Depending on how long it was out for, it might have been pod matter starting to mold.
