Is cactus best on a full or empty stomach?
If SWIM plans to take 20g powdered cactus at 12pm, should she eat beforehand? She usually has cereal with fruit and nuts at 9am but worries that this may inhibit the absorbtion of the cactus. On the otherhand, she won't be eating for a long time after ingestion so is a light meal recommended? Thanks

Re: Is cactus best on a full or empty stomach?
My pet dragonscale coated cockatiel believes that the stomach will be empty by the time 12pm comes along, what you are eating is pretty light in itself, however if your pulsating purple slug wishes to get the most out of it it is probably better to wait for 6 hours after a meal before consuming. This will allow absolutely nothing to prevent absorption.

Swim wouldn't eat before, but a light meal as you described would be fine. There's a possibility that swiy is going to throw up about 2 hours after eating the cactus so consider that when planning a pre-cactus meal.
