For swim withdraw in the beginning didn't seem to happen for swim or at least he didn't notice it, which sounds crazy now but swim would use a lot in the beginning with having money saved up and low tolerance. For some reason now though swim may use maybe 2 days maybe 3 using about 5 bags and will have sweats,sleeplessness,restless leg,anxiety, and craving.

SWIM bought smack 2 days ago. He bought 0.3g and he's a bit doubtful about the nature of the substance. It looks a lot like crystalline sugar. It's transparent (white), odorless and tastes slightly sweet and bitter at the same time. The dealer said it was H4.
SWIM ate a tiny bit to taste, and he felt something. That's surely placebo, though.

Is heroin always in fine powder form? Can it be crystalline too? Can it be cut with sugar?

hello iam new to this site and i would like to share my story. my name is david. ive been using heroin (snorting) for alil while now. ive been trying to hide it but last friday my girlfriend her family my family all found out and i aint never been more ashamed in my life iam on my 3rd day not using ive been trying to get into detoxs but all are full. so i have to take matters in my own hands. i wouldnt suggest messing with this drug. it will make you lose everything and more. the pain right now is unbearable its almost the worst pain in the world next to hurting the people you love. ive stole and sold everything i could get my hands on just for a quick high including some of my girls and moms boyfriends things. it sucks i wish i could take it all back. i cant sleep i cant sleep i cant smoke ciggarettes all i want is to get high one lasst time. but i know there aint no such thing as "one last time." ive never really had a father figure my "dad" used to abuse me all the time when i was younger by punching me in the face to kicking me when i was just a lil kid. iam a very depressed person right now. i had a shitty childhood growing up in the ghetto. seeing drug dealers and users all the time. so i recommend if your not addicted dont fuck with it.

I dont know if this is the right place to post my concerns??
However swims story is that swim was introduced to opiates over a year ago by her partner!!Swim had already tried most drugs but became familiar and some might say addicted to downers eg:Benzo's and sleepers of none Benzo!!However when discovering Tramadol it was no problem really for swim to cut dwn on other tablets as swim over indulged in opiates mainly trams but anything swim and partner may be able to get eg:fetynal patches and oxy's although this is very rare!!Ok so all this i can deal with and think i could use benzo's to get of but lately i have smoked H.I have always wanted to try but untill this invovled with opiates somehow could never!1I must try and explain as best i can i am from a small town and heroin is non exsistant i had never even seen it untill my partner had it.I knew he had smoked a few times then when we got back recently i also tried!!I have smoked now three times in all and think it is ok!!I have no intention of injecting,but eberyone says that!!!I was just wondering is it possible for me to do this once in a while or will it get the hold of me lyk the tramadol?????

If tramadols got a hold on you then I think you'll find heroin will get a stronger hold on you. Opiates are the strongest anti depressant pain killers known to man but the whiplash is the nastiest of herion.

from where i live in UK, I get a brown sugary type gritty powder... I've had a go at snorting a tiny bit of it and was sick like hell... i'm not looking to pin anything so i normally put a bit in a spliff ( i've had a go at chasing it off foil but always end up throwing up outa my flat window ) . I liken the buzz to being really stoned (not a fan of being stoned), but is excellent for sending you off after a long night ... or just sending you off. Its not exactly recreational is it ? scummy and overrated.

If SWIM was in SWIYs position, he would keep snorting. Eventually the nausea and throwing up will pass and you'll really enjoy the smack. The (low) bioavailability of smoking heroin is not worth it to SWIM

To swiy who wondered if the darker the Black Tar, the better..

I haven't seen any comprehensive posts about Black Tar, so I figured I'd write one..

In swim's experience, the darker IS in fact the better. Though, there have always been other components to such a comparison that makes it more accurate in knowing if it's better because it's darker.. Again, in swim's experience on the southern west coast, Black Tar comes in 3 varieties:

(Please keep in mind that due to the densely particulate nature of black tar in general, it is common knowledge among swim's H.-using acquaintances that when fixing up even a .1g-tar shot, one must always use at least 50units of water, and no less; 100 units being ideal. The more water, the less dense, the easier it is on your veins. The more product one adds to the mix, the darker and more syrupy the liquid becomes - so the more water is always the better with Black Tar.

Downtown Brown/Brown Tar Sugar: This stuff is incredibly weak. Upon closer inspection, one can plainly see that each dime bag is composed of approx. .025g actual black tar, chopped up and mixed into .075g worth of adulterants (lactose, sugar, and something weird). There is a faint vinegar smell, so one knows there is something of value in it, however minute. Swim has no idea how this stuff even sells.. Its dealers must literally make one or two sales, per person, ever, as it makes no sense to ever return to buy such a weak product. Swim's experience with this puts it somewhere around 10%-20% pure. Persons who are new to H. use would most likely derive very little benefit from this, even in their new-to-use status.

Gooey Black Tar: This stuff is always a mess; it is very gooey, and difficult to manipulate. The sunny-side (best quality found) stuff can be quite strong, but for some reason, rarely in a very good way. Almost every time swim has messed with this stuff, he has noticed that the rush is very dry.. hardly euphoric, but intense in a dizzy, confusing way - like a hypnotic. It always brings to mind the possibility of it being laced with Fentanyl, since swim knows that the ol' Fenta provides nyl euphoria, but is still a strong opiate, so it beats having withdrawals, and actually makes for a nice sleep - if done correctly. Gooey Black Tar also happens to be the type that is easiest to mimic by using substituting chemicals. Swim once bought .2g of this shady type, and quickly found out that while it initially smelled and smoked like most black of the gooey variety, it was completely devoid of anything psychoactive. Much talk swim has heard since, about the gooey black, has verified its status as a shady brand.

Hard Black Tar: Now this is the absolute best. It beats out all other types known to swim, by a very long shot. Always in dime/0.1g format, the consistency varies between a slightly soft "bar" of tar (a tar-bar harharhar) to a hard, breakable nugget. Both have similar highs - some of the difference likely being in the cut. They both smell of vinegar while dry.
-The slightly soft tar-bar breaks down more easily, and smells of coffee once mixed and ready to filter. The amount of filtrate stuck in the filter after drawing up is quite substantial, and the liquid is usually a medium brown color. (Due to the amount of filter-junk, in a pinch, cotton-shots are quite strong.. I have gotten higher from pressing out 3-4 used cottons than from .1g whole tar, before.) The rush is rough - a good rough - and peaks with pins & needles, and a nice, steady euphoria - the plateau lasting a good 30min, followed by a heavy nod.
-The hard, breakable nugget tar requires more heat to break down in the water, as it is densely packed - though once broken down, it leaves behind maybe 35% of the cut-junk one gets from the soft tar-bar. There is no coffee smell; instead, there is the familiar smell of just..black tar, that I cannot describe. Since there is less junk in this one, the filter is cleaner, which makes cotton-shots quite pointless.. The rush is clean - quick, succinct, and energetic, in a way - peaking with a strong warm 'n fuzzy euphoria, the plateau lasting about 30 min, and followed by a mild-moderate nod.
