After trying Kratom for the first time tonight (the buzz from the plant form is not subtle), I started wondering: How long until some enterprising soul(s) figure out which alkaloids are the most potent, grow a large quantity of the stuff, extract the pure alkaloids in their lab and inject or smoke it? Selling it on the street comes next, followed by the DEA adding it to their Schedule 1 list. I mean, coca leaves are a far weaker buzz, and look at the situation with cocaine.
I'm actually quite surprised that all this hasn't happened yet. Is there something about Kratom that makes this scenario unlikely? Or should I pick up a few kilos of the stuff now, and put it in cold storage? P.S. just as an addition, anyone have advice on finding Kratom seeds and growing some plants myself? Would definitely like to try this.Edited by: Nicaine |

Someone already made a topic some time ago asking about injecting kratom. Of course some idiot will hafto try to make a good thing even better for themselves, while ruining it for everyone else. I think that will be sometime away though, because there seems to be little interest in injecting. Someone will probably do something stupid like injecting a homeaid extract and getting all that plant matter in they're veins.
As for growing... Most people fail or have bad yeilds. You can buy young trees for like 50 bucks, but again, high rate of failure. Cuttings never seem to work either. Also, growing high potency leaves is a pain in the ass. You have to replicate the tropical conditions perfectly. You would need a heating lamp, thermometer, a constant wind source and you would need to water it alot. Way to much hassle for me. |
